What?
i thought part of being a pump player was being able say say "yea i shot you with a pump" while the other person is ramping on you.

What I meant is that these new open class pumps shoot fast enough that they make a mockery of playing pump. A player with a CCM and forcefeed loader has more in common with a player shooting an EGO than he does a player shooting a PGP or Phantom. Not to take away from the skill and practice it takes to get to that point but if you are going to shoot 14bps with a pump you may as well just pick up a semi.

O.o i use a 50 hopper, planning on getting a stick feed and rarely, if ever, use the autotrigger.

i understand the pump snobbery about this OC stuff, but i think you should know me better than that by now

It's not open vs stock pump snobbery it is just that fast shooting pumps are a pet peeve of mine we already had a pump ROF arms race and it ended with semis. Congrats on the new CCM they are beautiful markers and shoot like a dream they just sort of trigger this "uncanny valley" reaction in me as a pump that is too much like a semi for my liking.
