Not bad. I know nothing about how it shoots or anything, but it looks nice. 6/10

im gunna have to say 1/10, looks like you have a aftermarket bolt in there wich would normally get you a 2/10 but seeing as its missing a asa i have to take a point off

i believe it is a prostock, milling looks a little different though so im not 100% sure

i give all stock markers a 1/10 reguardless of how much it costs, as iv said before this section is called "rate MY marker" not the "rate what the factory made" section, if you want ratings on a stock marker you can look at pbreview even though that site is horridly bias. but what really sets apart a marker from all the other ones like it out there is how the owner has customized it to their own wants and needs.

as for a asa, i cant tell for sure but from the pics it looks like the frame has a dovetail mount on the bottome, if in fact it does all you need is any asa that is also designed to work with a dovetail mount

if your on a bit of a budget i suggest the CP mini ASA, great little ASAs that are remarcably easy to turn on and off ($30)

and if you can spend a little more, the Bob long gear driver, helps keep the profile of the marker as small as possible but a little more costly ($50)

that's somewhat silly. what about stock markers that rock out of the box? Not everything needs money thrown at it to shoot well.

i never said they do, but throw someone's stock 09 impulse in a pile of other stock 09 impulses that are the same color and they will not be able to find it, so what makes it "their" marker if they have not customized it to make it suit themself? just because someone can afford a $1,200 marker i see no point in giving them a high rating based on their income and how much they are willing to spend, likewise if you spend $1000 in useless parts im going to give you a bad rating. now take this marker you have up here, i have a superstock myself but shot it stock once before i went to work on it. $500 later its very far from stock, is it for everyone? no, people have different tastes but i put my own work into it and like it the way it is. it got some good ratings when i put it up here and also a few people that didnt like it as much as others, but it basically comes down to, if your putting a marker up here for rating you are opening up for other people to insert their opinions, and if you can not handle that, then dont put your marker up here stock or otherwise

pbreview is there if you want ratings on a stock marker anyway

edit: looking at the pics again im thinking thats another stock bolt thats in it, if that is the case, 0/10, sorry but its not even functional the way it is. my other thought is if thats an aftermarket body, im not thinking it is but im sure someone will be able to clear that up, everything else strikes me as prostock. beavertail matches mine except you have it in chrome.

got any big plans for it?

That's indeed a prostock. And less than stock at that. 0/10 Don't get me wrong, prostocks are the nicest mechs wgp ever made but the way it works here we rate on looks and enhanced performance via upgrades or modification. You have neither.

Any unimount asa will fit on there, or you can get an asa that mounts on a rail or drop forward.

Advice: if you do get the asa get one with the output hole at the front and not the side, (i.e. if it's an on/off it must be either a DP RAPS style or like the bob long or hybrid ones that have the on/off button through the side). Do that and you get to keep your steel braided hose with no extra fittings or the need for macroline.

on a barrel it just depends on how much you want to spend, on the inexpensive end theres the J&J ceramic, very nice barrels for $30, in the middle im a little partial to the dye ultralight (also known as the dye UL) last i saw they were around $70 but im not sure anymore, they are aluminum barrels. and on the high end theres the DW fibur (yes thats how it is spelled) which is a carbon fiber barrel that uses the freak kit inserts so you have the weight of a carbon fiber barrel and the accuracy and efficancy of a barrel kit, around $150 for the barrel and a full freak kit

als, halo is not a bad choice they have just kind of been outdaded. may want to look into the VL eye force or Invert too to see if you would like those better. if you do still wnat the halo i suggest getting the empire reloader instead, it is 99% the exact same hopper (same exact parts) except for the board, the halo uses a eye that can go blind if a paintball breaks in the hopper, the empire uses ears to hear the marker fire. so if you break a ball in the empire it just keeps feeding as if nothing has happened

As far as hoppers, I'd say for the less expensive ones:

Halo Too > Eye Force > ReloaderB2 > HaloB > ReloaderB

The original ReloaderB didn't have settings for the microphone, it took a baseline reading. Which means if your field is too quiet where you turn it on, it'll be too sensitive, and try to chop paint. If it's too loud where you turn it on, it won't feed properly unless you've got a loud marker. ReloaderB was complete garbage IMO. B2 board is what's in the Halo Too.

Shrug. I've been using the same reloader B for five or six years, and it's been flawless. I only change the batteries about once a season, and it's more than fast enough for the ROF fields allow. Not that I play semi much anymore...

Yeah, it totally depends on things. When I had a ReloaderB I couldn't get it to feed. I used autocockers and my field was rather noisy, so I couldn't get it to feed 90% of the time. I was hopper limited to about 1/4 bps.

once i learned about the baseline iv never had another problem with my b, the motor doesnt have enoufgh power to chop paint, iv had 3 breaks in it the 3 years i played with it all from the popcorn effect. turn it on somewhere quiet and you will not have any problems all day.

however i will say it is not the best on battery life, i was only ever using the 4aa pack and got 7-10 cases max

well, since companys are getting smarter, by adding nice on/off asas that dont need to be replaced, you dont really need to replace a dye stock board when it can shoot just as fast as a virtue board...i rate ppl on the whole set up tank hopper etc

That's an odd back for a G-1. usually the backs were heavily milled to reduce weight. G-1 bolt was an aftermarket 2-piece bolt. I personally never used one, but you could get different backs depending on the length (pre2k, post2k, EVO/STO)but use the same front. Other than the fact that every back other than yours I've seen of them (only like 3 still) was heavily milled, they never particularly impressed me over stock as they were still all metal, and so were only slightly lighter due to the milling.
