woodsball

hey, im fairly new to paintball, ive played a few times and have a gun and equipment, but i have some questions.

I play woodsball with a bunch of my friends, and i was wondering if you guys could give me some general pointers on how to play woodsball.

Also, could you all give me some help on my aim?

wear camo or dark clothing, and work like a team! Speedball players stereotype woodsballers as noobs because of walk on players who go off and do their own thing. A team is twice as effective as a bunch of guys with no coordination.

All good things. I'll reiterate...

1. Stay concealed. Camo helps this. If they can't see you, they're less likely to shoot you.

2. Don't fire until the shot presents itself. Unlike Speedball where there are "lanes" there is no definite prediction in woodball as to wear they might move next. Plus this goes along with #1, since the less you fire the better concealed you are

3. Stay in small squads. You don't need 10 people, but 3-4 is much better than 1. You can coordinate and surround enemies. If your team is large (10 or more) split into small groups to divide the enemy.

4. Communicate. This goes for all games really, but woodsball is more difficult. Best way is to get a good set of 2-way radios and have at least one in each squad. This way you'll be able to coordinate better and transfer info on where the enemy is located.

5. Have fun. There's no point in playing if you don't have fun. Change up your tactics every now and then. Catch the enemy with a surprise rush. Be unexpected.

Good luck and have fun.

dont waste your paint! only take shots when you have a clear opening! lots of times little sticks hanging off of trees get in your way and screw you up that always irritates me.

camo.... comunication.... stratagie(dont just go in as a group and just shoot.. work to gether and plan stratagies.. work as a unit... a very good trick is have a friend (teamate) shoot like a mad man at some body so that they stay down.. while you move around and come at them from the side or even behind...(flank)
