Post Submit Your Rec Ball Game Ideas!

Alright, this thread is called Submit Your Rec Ball Game Ideas!

The point is too try and make a single thread where you can find a whole bunch of different peoples idea's for rec ball games. I have seen people mention some very unigue game idea's that I have never heard of, and there are tons! That is what inspired me to start this thread.

Be sure to mention the title (so we don't get repeats), minimum number of players required, what you will need, and the objective of the game

Maybe we can get a sticky, if this thread is popular enough and organized. So please don't try and stray too far from the format.

I will start it with one that everyone should know

Name: Capture The Flag
Minimum Number of Players: 6+
Things you Need: 2 different colour flags
Objective: Each team has its own territory in which its players are free to move as they please. The territories are separated by a boundary line such as a brook or a trail, etc.

The teams assemble close together at a starting point near the center of the line, each team in its own territory. The teams proceed to set their flags at any point within 200 steps (or as far away from) from the boundary. The flags must be visible, although it is permissible to place them as inconspicuously as possible.

Start of game. The object now is to enter the enemy's territory, capture the flag, and carry it across the line into home territory without being hit.

i guess this thread isnt going to pick up, but here is another one...

Name: Capture the Briefcase, Center Flag
Minimum Number of Players: 4+
Things you Need: 1 Briefcase/Flag
Objective: Capture the Briefcase, Center Flag is pretty much like traditional Capture The Flag. The main difference is that instead of a flag, Capture the Brifcase, Center Flag uses a single briefcase/flag located within the middle.

Each team will start in there own territory and attempt to capture the briefcase/flag. They must then bring the briefcase to the opposing terroitory by eliminating all the opposing players.

Minimum Number of Players: 6+
Things you Need: A Hill
Objective: One team of a greater number has to advance up the hill. The smaller team has to stay stationary towards the top. Eliminate all of your opponents and/or breakthrough enemy lines and you win.

You could also reverse the teams to make it more challenging for the small team.

Name: Fox Hunt
Minimum Number of Players: 10+
Things you Need: Heavyily wooded area
Objective: Send a small number of players (in a game of 15 for example, 3-4) into the woods with several minutes headstart to hide. THese are the foxes. The remaining players have to go in and attempt to eleminate the foxes, before being completely elimenated themselves. Foxes can only be eliminated with a hit in the vitals (head, upper torso and upper back), hounds are eleminated with any shot.

Name: Fugitive
Minimum Number of Players: 4-10
Things you Need: Bright orange vest/jumpsuit
Objective: One person is selected to be the fugitive and is given the orange vest/jumpsuit to wear and a predetermined amount of shots, minimum = to the amount of remaining players (cops) [if someone has a pistol marker that's even better].

The fugitive is given a certain amount of time to hide. He can move around if he wants but keep in mind that the orange is going to hinder him.

Eliminations are by vitals shots, everything else loses function (ie, shot in leg, you hop or limp). Time limit can be applied.

Fugitive wins if all cops are eliminated or time runs out. Cops win if fugitive is eliminated.

Name: Sheild Game
Number of Players: team ratio of about 1 on 5 to 10
Things you need:sheilds for the sheild team. A light peice of plywood with wire on it for you to hold on to.
Objective: The sheild team (remeber ratio of 1 on 5 to up to 10) obviously is equpited with sheilds and goes into the woods first. The hunter team then goes in and has to kill them. The sheilds are heavly out numbered but skilled sheild players can win. Its a lot of fun. Last team standing wins or give the sheilds a time limit that they have to survive til.

Things you need: Really brave guys!
Objective: Draw a circle in the middle of an open area. The Circle needs to be small, about 1/2 the size of a football feild.

In the circle there is a few bunkers here and there, maybe a tree or two but for the most part it needs to be open pasture.

Ok everyone who is playing spreads out as much as possible and can not go within 10 feet of any cover. On the word "FIGHT" it is everyman for himself! Last Gladiatior standing in the Gladiator pit wins. This game is almost funner to watch then to play in.

It dosn't work as well if you do it on a rectangled shaped speed ball course, becouse someone always gets in a cornor and is tuff to shot out. Just change the boundards so it is more of a circle.

Minimum Number of Players:7+
Things needed to play:a fort (2-story is best)

Pick an item, any random item, although flags work best, and put it in the highest point of the fort. The team controlling the fort cannot pass the 50. The team who is attacking has to find a way to get in the fort, take the flag, and get back to their spawn point. The attacking team gets to respawn every 5 minutes, while the defending team gets more players and spawns every 8 minutes.

Objectives:Each player starts with only 21 paintballs in their hopper. (the name blackjack) Pods or refills are not allowed!

You can do simple free for all elmination or teams. The point is to make players take more careful shots. The last team or player standing wins.

Things you Need: ATV's or GoKarts depending on the location
Objective: obviously this will only work for people who have ATV's and Go-karts.
For the ATV's you need a large field, Go-Karts, abandoned parking lot or large open cement patch if you can find one.

Set up a course of some kind, wether it be oval or road course it doesnt matter. You can set a number of laps to complete or go until everyone is out of paint, and whoeer is in 1st wins. If you get shot you have to give up a position. If you are in 5th and oot the guy in 3rd, he has to drop to 4th and you can't shoot him again until the pass is complete.

You can use paint grenades too if you want to slow down the people behind you. they'll have to slowdown a little to wipe their goggles off (you can set the rules so that they have to let off the gas until they get their mask clean or even stop)

use common sense though. you pull right up on someone's rear, don't mark them from point blank, and as for shooting behind you, look before firing.

Objective: Just like westerns, Draw!!! good for when you start to run out of paintballs after a long game, or in another variation colonial style duel (take 10 paces turn and shoot)

Things you Need:a large field marked in 5-6 foot increments
Objective: Start out at the limits of the marker's range. determine by coin toss which team fires first. The person across from you is your target. Each team takes turns firing 3 or 5 shot volleys at the opposing team. After the second team fires, both teams move up to the next marker 5 or 6 feet closer and firing resumes.

When you're hit you're out, last team with members standing wins. If you somehow come to the final line, with no team eliminated, team with the most people standing wins, or game restarts with all eliminated members respawning.

Name: Open Ball (meh no need for a good name)
Minimum Number of Players: Between 6 and 100
Things you Need: a field, about 150-250 meters long and a good sized width, no cover, paintballs and gas for everyone, markers, something to put in the middle, some tape to mark out the bases.
Objective: The teams are equal. One at each end, pretty much the objective is to run to the middle, shooting at each other, when you get hit you leave. its a game i play with my freinds, and its fooking awsome. its really quite brutal tho. Objective to get whatever is in the middle to your oponants base. It is inportant there is no cover.

Minimum Number of Players: 8+
Things you Need: Woodsball Field
Objective: Say if there are 8 people playing, One person is the president and has no gun. The president has 3 body guards(with guns) and must take him from one side of the field to the other. The other 4 players try to obviously...eliminate the president. If the presdent is shot or if all his body guards are elminated then the other team wins. The president's team wins if they reach the finish without the president being shot or they can win if they elminate all the opposing players.

objective:take a bunker depending on side then not move from the bunker to shoot and hit the oppoiste team and u can only move when someon onn the otherteam gets out but the only person to move up is the one who nocks out the person

or if u want u can switch positions with another person who would switch

The usual + a bell/whistle
The "illegals" have to make it past the border patrol and ring the bell or blow whistle

Ratio of players should be 1 border guard to 3 illegals... Illegals receive only 50 paintballs each... border guard has unlimited. If 2/3 (66%) of the illegals make it past, the border guard loses...

This game is better with some sort of natural "border"... such as a creek bed, or a treeline. The bell/whistle is hung from a branch in a known spot, and it's no fun if the illegals cheat and go out of bounds so set clear boundries.

Things you Need: Hill, fortified bunker
Objective:[B] 2 to 3 people defend the fort while 7+ people charge the bunker with minimum cover. Cover should be sparse so most can be tagged out before they reach the bunker. I have done this at one of my local paintball courses where they have an old bus on top of a hill and some bunkers below it. Very fun... for the people in the bunker. If the attackers penetrate the bunker they get a hell of a war story

Minimum Number of Players: 8
Things you Need: White arm bands for medics
Objective: Pretty much your typical woodsball game, only difference is that one player on each team is dubbed the "Medic". Medics carry no gun but can heal fallen team mates so that they can keep on playing. Medics can heal any wound except head shots. When a player is killed, he stays put and calls for the medic. Healing a player takes 1 minute. To win you must eliminate the opposing teams medic and all other players.

This game is amasingly fun, especially for the medic. Always keeping one eye on your guys to keep them fighting and the other out for the enemy so you don't get killed.

Minimum Number of Players: 7
Things you Need: Something small and brightly colored to represent a bomb, a time keeper to act as bomb timer.
Objective: If you have ever played Counter Strike this is a no brainer, if not here you are. Even teams one is counter terrorist the other is terrorist. Terrorists must plant and defend the bomb in one of two marked bomb sites. Counter terrorists must eliminate all terrorists and defuse the bomb if it has been planted. Bomb will detonate 2 minutes after it has been planted. It takes 1 minute to defuse bomb (this is where the timer comes in). Game ends when either the bomb detonates or one team is completely eliminated.
