Cool Large Forest paintball field

I am thinking about renting out my 82 acres of forest for weekend long paintball wars. I was wanting to know what everone thought of this. I was thinking it would be fun for a bunch of paintballers to have 80+ acres to camp and play a weekend long game. What do you guys think I need to have for the feild before it is a great place to play. It has 4 deer stands in the trees spread around the property that could be used as sniper nest. It also have a pond on the property. The land is mostly hilly but there are two different open flat grass feilds that are about 5 acres each. I really don't have a bunch of money to spend at first for a pro shop and gear rental equipment. I am not sure what to charge. I want to make this a fun field were the people that rent it can have it from a Friday at 5:00pm untill midnight on a Sunday. The could bring there own tents and what not to sleep in if they wanted to sleep. There is lots of firewood out there if the wanted to build fires to cook over or what ever. Please let me know what you think. If you can help me get this going I am sure you could all come and play for a weekend at a very discounted rate.

I was thinking about doing that at my friends house he's got about 4 acres.

80 arces seems like a whole lot of land to be playing paintball on. you'll need several hundred people to use if effectively..which isn't going to happen.

your best bet would be to advertize int eh local paper or something. i think it'll be better if you section off a couple acres and have them play on that. you have ot get a lot of interest though before you start something like this. and since your'e chargin them money, you'll mostlikely need some sort of insurance. it all depends on how far you ant to go with it really. with 80 acres, you could host huge scenerio games..but that would cost you lots and lots of money.

I think the best idea would be to divide the field up in a whole bunch of different terrains and eleveations. Make like the grass fields filled with wood bunkers and the woods filled with stick bunkers and stuff. It is also reccamended to get like a mini pick up truck or something to drive back there with water and drinks. If your going to open it up your going to want insurance and all that legal jazz. After that though you should have a nice place.

Both of them are right about the size of the field. My grandfather also has about 85 acres of property in upstate NY. One summer about 15 people between my family and family friends brought our PBguns and gear up while we went camping. It WAS AMAZING! I wont lie but out of the 85 acres we used at most 7. Even then we ran around for about 10mins before we even found ANYONE. But with the size of the field behide us, you need to take into consideration not only would you have to buy rental gear, C02 and NITRO to refill tanks, paintballs, etc. BUT you will also have to pay insurance. This could become COSTLY. It would literally be like starting your very own company so to say. With no offense toward you (Perhaps you were typing fast) but the spelling errors alone show that you might not be able to hold the responsibility that would come along with having 50+ liabilities running around your property.
