Shoot the other team's players before they shoot your team's players.

TALK! Yell out the opponents positions! Do whatever, just don't be quiet. It makes me angry when I'm yelling positions, and all of me mates are just sitting there shooting.

don't get shot, don't make stupid moves, don't one ball people put like 3 minimum on them, play tight, communicate, shoot some fools, don't stay behind one bunker the whole game (if you play front or mid) but don't over challenge the move.

EDIT: walk the feild before you play so you can see all the angles that you want to have in your control.

depends it varies, like for a 3 on 3 match, usually we all play back bunkers because losing one person really hurts the team. But bigger teams are usually more aggressive. Just keep communicating and make sure to protect the tapes.

well depends on what ur playing.....try not to get hit off break.....if u get hit off break ur team is basically screwed....if its a big team be aggressive and watch the whole field, most people usually only watch one person and dont noticed people flanking....once theres a person in front of u and next to u, your basically screwed...

Run around in the open screaming getting peoples attention and ur team mates shoot other team while u get lit up . Or just find a bunker move up bunker to bunker, shout positions and discuss what bunker ur going to cuz if u dont sliding into a team mate isnt fun.

depends on what position you wanna play. personally, i love playing front, sometimes mid (not that i ever could play back with my gun). but yeah, basically, off the break, you run as fast as you can. dont even shoot, just get to a bunker. let your backmen give you covering fire. again, communicate with your teamates-very very important. because if you are pinned down, tell someone, and they can help you out. or you can get one of your backmen to spray a bunker, and then you can go up and take the guy out more easily. also, listen. you want people on your team to give you info too, so keep both your eyes and ears open. plus, you can hear where the other team is by listening for their shots.
scan the field, dont keep your vision narrowed, or you might miss something important. know where your teamates are going off the break, and make sure during the game that you keep track of them. if one guy gets out that you were depending on for cover, then you have to think quickly.
very important idea: never stay behind one bunker for too long. i hate it when i see noobs all cowering behind one bunker. it doesnt work. MOVE! a lot. it keeps the other team guessing, and your not an easy target anymore. even if your not moving forward, just move as much as possible, this will also help you not get bunkered as easily, and it will help you bunker other players.
something that was mentioned before: walk the field before the game starts with your team. each player should get assignments (like which way they are going, and which bunker theyre taking off the break). its good if everyone knows what everyone else is doing.
dont be afraid to get hit. youre a lot closer to the other team in speedball than you are in woods. you can see them, and they can see you. so dont be afraid. all it does is screw you up. it doesnt matter if you get hit, theres always another game starting in 10 minutes. so basically, take risks, cuz the reward far outways the risk in most situations. so going back to moving: moving sometimes means leaving your bunker, coming under heavy fire, and quickly sliding into another bunker. but sitting in one bunker is gonna get you shot. especially because once they find out where you are, its only a matter of time because you can be sure theyre moving around, trying to get position on you.
basically, you'll pick it up in time. just watch others play and you'll know what to do. its all a matter of getting in the game and getting the feel for it. good luck man, hope this helped at least a little (i know i rambled a lot).

Roll your guns, be patient, and talk.

If your playing back, be sure to walk the field beforehand to figure out the key lanes. Once the game starts, just keep laning, don't let up.

Well my team likes to kick back and usually not go past the 30's otb unless there's a bigass fifty. Once we gain gun dominance then we make power moves and win the game.

In some cases, one is all you need...and all you will get the chance to get.

Take a 1 on 1 situation. You are just snapping with the other player. If you stay out long enough to get 5 shots off, he could pop out and get you once in the face and go back in, not getting hit. That's what I love about playing trigger happy people. They snap out and shoot like 5-10 times and go back in. Whenever I am snapping against them, I just snap out really quick and shoot once. Sure I have less of a chance of shooting them, but the have less of a chance of shooting me as well because I'm not sticking out for 2 seconds. Shoot once and pop them in the face...all you need.

Anywho, I have learned that if you are playing a field you have never played before, take a while to walk the field and check which bunkers have good lanes on other bunkers.

You also have to play tight...but that doesn't have to be applied all the time. If you have to back up a couple feet to get a good lane on somebody (only do this if there is only 1 person still in on the other team...you can get away with doing it with more than 1 person in on the other team if they are at the same bunker or close to it). Make sure you keep your elbow tucked in under your gun too. If your elbow is just hanging out there...it exposes a lot more of your body, which is an easy way to get you out. Also, when you are snapping, don't pop out of the same time all the time. Make sure you keep switching sides and go lower on the bunker as well. It's awesome snapping with a guy that just keeps snapping out of the same spot...just switch side or go lower, snap out really quick and get him.

COMMUNICATE!! Yell the positions of the players on the other team. Even if you teammates don't, it will still help your team because they know where people are at. If you walk the field before and check lanes, they will be able to position themselves to get an easy out...or prevent getting out themselves. If you are a back, make sure your fronts and even your mids know where everbody on the other team is located so they can get some eliminations.

Play smart. Don't just pointlessly move up to another bunker to get a good lane on one person when 2 other people on that team have a perfect shot at that bunker. Sure, you will get one person out...but doesn't help your team at all if you're out too.

A lot of people I know and play with don't move when people are shooting at their bunker...they just chill. I can't stand that. If they are just shooting at the bunker, snap out really quick and see where they are shooting from. Position your gun in such a way that you can just snap out really quick again, shoot once or twice, and go back in. If you are good at positioning your gun right, you will get him out. I also move to another bunker if somebody is laning the one I am in. Sometimes I get shot out...but a lot of times it helps. It can cut off their view of where you are at sometimes, giving you the chance to bump up to another bunker without them knowing and get them out.

One thing I do that some people consider cheating...is acting like you didn't notice the hit...even if you did. If you get shot in the arm or body (if you get hit in an obvious spot, go out...it will be obvious if your gun gets shot and there is splatter all over your mask but you are still playing) snapping, don't look at it or feel it or anything...act like nothing happened and just keep playing. Wait for a ref to call you out. If they are doing their job right, they will notice it and call you out anyway. There is a drawback to this though. At 2 fields I go to regularly, I get bonus balled a lot by the people who know my playing style. I don't get pissed off when I get bonus balled by these people either. They do what they have to do to get me out...it's my fault they were able to shoot me in the first place.

The best strategy though...is practice. Practice as much as you can for as long as you can. A team based out of a town about half hour from where I live has their own reball center in an old church/school gym. The past 4 weekends I have gone there and played...good way to get back in the groove after not playing for 5 months. Practice against people better than you that can give you pointers too. I hate playing people worse than me...no competition...no fun. I would rather get shot up every game and get better than just chill and get everybody on the other team out in 20 seconds.

EDIT: About the break. If you are playing front, just sprint as fast as you can to your first bunker. Slide into (superman if you can) your first bunker, then get your gun up ready to shoot. Snap out to see where people are at...shouldn't really have to worry about where people are at if your backs are doing their jobs right. If you are a mid player, get good at shooting while you are running so you can run and gun to your first bunker and possibly get a couple eliminations right off the back. Get to your bunker and play just like you would normally. Playing back, just walk to your bunker and rip on the trigger. Lane bunkers that the other team tends to go to (should know which ones after the second or third games) and hopefully they will run right into your string. What I do when I play back is walk to my first bunker laning a bunker and calling out positions to my teammates at the same time so they can get eliminations. Like I said before...you have to communicate or your team will get rocked...unless you are playing ****ty people.

Holy crap that's long lol

everything has been pretty much said, but the key to winning a game is most definetly talking, come up with code words which include how many players u have left how many players they have left , a word for bunker him. walk the field find key lanes, another key thing weather playing 5, 7, 10 and mostly 3 man is shooting some one off the break, if u can get some one off the break u should be able to win by outnumbering ur opponent

Very important: know where all of your opponents are at once. Do not ever just focus on one guy. The most obvious negative outcome: a paintball will come out of a random direction and hit you if you are not aware. But just as vital: knowing where everybody is gives you the chance to hit them from the angles provided by your bunker. Also, it gives you another very important skill in paintball: to plan ahead. If you run to your next planned bunker not knowing about the guy with the Angel directly angling you, you will be hurting the next day.

when i play we normaly play 5 man but were very aggressive since my frends are there. i get one of my frends into the snake and i try and get to a front bunker. my borther plays back and mostly gets the lanes for me but he helps everyone. if we dont have my frend my brother can also play the snake.

so basically get good position and make aggressive moves,

communicate to where your opponets are(if you watch any of the NPPL tournament on espn, turn your volume upand i guarentee at least one person will say *insert name here* where are they.) also commmunication helps because if your playing front your back guy can give a sign if he sees a cahnce to bunker someone.

dont pop out in the same place
