Exclamation Trracer with BT sights (help)

Hi. I am going to purchase my own Empire Trracer soon. There will be many small but satisfying upgrades along the way with this gun, as it looks like it's going to be my primary (very excited!). One of those upgrades that I would like to have would be the BT Front and Rear sights.

Now here is the problem: I am thinking that because I will be using the SA-17 10 round hopper on this gun, I don't think it will have a decent line of sight for me to use these iron sights.

Note: I am going to be playing what I call "bottleback", or having the tank positioned behind the gun regularly like in this picture, but with a 13/3000 Ninja tank, if this even makes difference. Don't even bother mentioning bottomline, I honestly feel more comfortable with bottleback, even though probalbly 95% of the internet would dissagree with me.

Is there another way we could remedy this problem? Maybe I could buy another hightened rail system so it's more elevated? (Idea) Or maybe I could simply adjust the height of the iron sights and I will be able to see over the feedneck thatway? By the way, these are the iron sights we're talking about.

Any and all help is welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!

wow, when did empire start making a pump? and a milsim one at that?

at any rate iv seen a few pump players use ghost rings with some success, the feed tube sticks off to the right so really i think anything you mount on the top rail will be fine

The BT sights attach to picatinny rails and the Trracer has a clear line of sight across the top so I don't see the problem. The way you mount the tank is called "back bottle" and is a very old school way of mounting a tank but it works great so I doubt anyone would disagree with you.

Personally, you don't need to use the sights.

With that said, the new traccer has the feed neck off to the side, so you'll be able to see the sights fine looking down the marker.

I own an Empire Trracer, The feeder on the side is out of the way of sights like the others have said. I've got a red dot scope (and a pointless red dot laser) on mine. Note: the riser is just there so that I can use the red dot laser as well as the sight and grip.

I actually found the red dot on my T9.1 worked pretty well using First Strikes. I was planning on removing it but the shots go just about dead on straight. Sorry guys...

The laser is more useless than the red dot, which is useless also, but less useless than a laser

Because some people find them fun? Before you judge anyone for using something you think is stupid or useless never forget that people are supposed to be playing the game for the fun of it.
