It's the year 2552, a vile collective of fanatical religious aliens known as "The Covenant" have attacked and destroyed a United Nations Space Command post known as "Reach". A lone ship was able to escape the destruction to warn Earth about the fleet of aliens enroute to invade it. In an effort to redirect the alien fleet, the UNSC has launched a pre-emptive strike using an elite group of super warriors to attack the aliens home planet. This elite group of warriors,, known as Spartan II's, using their ship "The Pillar of Autumn", have reached the alien planet with the hope of causing enough destruction to redirect the alien war fleet home. The Spartan II warriors are working against all odds as little is known about the planet, it's army, or the alien's themselves. With an alien fleet capable of destroying entire planets, the "Pillar of Autumn" and it's soldiers are humanities only hope!

Realms Of Ruin is the home field of 1st Mercenary Group, Praetorian Guard, Team Nightshade, Napalm, Recon Factor and Dark Legion scenario teams.
ALL TEAMS / PLAYERS WHO LIVE 500 OR MORE MILES AWAY FROM THE FIELD WILL RECEIVE FREE ENTRY TO THIS EVENT - a savings of up to $45 per person! ( Photo ID or Equivalent required to confirm eligibility )
To get the pre-registration discounts, player entries must be received or postmarked no later than August 8th, 2005. The field will open after 8 a.m. on Friday, August 19th to accommodate early camping, arrivals and RVs. Registration and paint sales will be open on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., then will re-open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
Mandatory player orientation is 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
"Game on" is from noon Saturday until 2 p.m. Sunday.
Event admission: $35 per player prior to pre-registration deadline; $45 thereafter and on the day of the game.
Admission includes: Official embroidered event patch; character ID card; laminated event badge; entry into the prize drawings; a 24-hour event.
Paint: PMI Premium event paint – 2000-round case - $70 ( $60 per case if paid before pre-registration deadline )
Air fills: All-event air is $10.00 per player, per tank ( $5.00 if paid before pre-registration deadline ). Otherwise, a ticket system will be used for Co2 and Nitrogen fills: Tickets are $3. Each ticket will fill or top-off any size Co2 or N2 bottle. All tanks / bottles WILL be inspected prior to filling. Tanks / bottles that are out of hydro date will NOT be filled. No exceptions!
