I realize this has probably been talked about numerous times, so thanks to anyone taking the time to help.

So what's the deal? I assume the 2010 version of the PMR changed fro mthe 2009 PMR given that the Proto Matrix line doesn't exist anymore and the fact that the PMR is now about twice the cost that it used to be. Is it worth it? Where does it sit in the quality spectrum with the old PM line and in relation to the DM line. I'm upgrading from a spyder VS2 and looking for a good mid level marker. Would this one fit the bill? What other mid-level markers should I be looking at if I am considering the PMR? Thanks all.

2010 is the same as the 2009 and 2008 other than VERY minor changes. Internally, the PMR hasn't changed since it was first introduced in 2007. They just for the 08 model year got rid of having a non-UL frame, and upgraded all the composite parts to metal with a better feedneck, on/off, and the Hyper 3 instead of the Hyper2 of the 07. Since then, no actual upgrades.

are you refering to a PMR vs a PM8?

if so its PM8 all the way, that said the PM8 is a lot less of a new player friendly marker over the PMR, so depending on how much experience you have in the sport even though the PM8 will have better performance it may not be the correct choice
