unregulated CO2 tank?? meaning what? having no anti-syphon tube in it? but do you know if it is pre-set from factory at 500psi? do ya think that it would be a good idea to get a pressure gauge?

Unregulated CO2 means that your not using any regulators for the presure. An anti-syphon tube just means that the tank is unregulated but you not going to be as likely to draw Liguid CO2 into the gun.

None of the plamers regs come at a Pre-set pressure out the box. A gauge is not needed but it helps spot problems. If your not going to get a gauge back the set screw out so that is no long being pushed, you will feel a slight diffenance in the force on the screw. By doing that reg is will be set to 0 PSI.

Now to get it turned for your gun screw it in 1 turn and test fire you gun. If it does not recock screw the set screw in a 1/4 turn again and retest. Keep doing that till your 98 recocks every time it's fired. Right now your velocity is going to be a little low so back the Velocity screw out but don't remove it. You will now be using your regulator to adjust the velocity of your gun.
