Ok, I'm kind of new to paintball. I've really only ever used two kinds of paint(monster and prem). Are there diff size paintballs because I see people posting about getting barrel where paint will fit??? I recently bought a DYE Xcel barrel and I guess it is compatable with my paint because it shoots it, but how can you tell? Does the ball explode or something if it doesn't work with the barrel? Are there diff size pb's, or what?

There are different sizes of paintball. A quick way of telling if the paint fits your barrel perfectly is this:

Take the barrel off the gun. Put a paintball in it.
-If it rolls out, it is too small. It should roll a little and then stop
-Use the barrel like a blowgun. You should be able to blow the paintball out of the barrel.
-If this happens, it is correct size. If it does not budge, it is too large.

Paint to barrel match is key in getting the best accuracy possible.

Well I tried with my stock barrel and it worked like you said, but with my Xcel barrel it went up until the air holes when I blew it. It did that though because then air went through the holes when I blew it so does that mean my pb's are the right size because it did go up to the holes, but then stopped?
