does this really work? or is it one of those gimmick things like the flatline that dont do anything?

it looks like it would work, it's by tippmann, so it shouldnt be too bad... the only way i can see it not working is if youhave very brittle weak paint, and the ball cant provide enough resistance to get it to do it's anti chop cycle. kind of a strange system IMO, but it looks like it'd work.

I have heard people's reviews of the Act and a lot of people have said that it works and very well.

Should work fine- Just like Kingmans ACS bolts and JAM bolts for other guns. Except in the Tippmann the spring is on the rear bolt and controls the linkage arm.

Where have you been? Yes the ACT works greats. Its not "just like the Kingmans ACS bolts", it's better.

And so you know, the flatline also works..... not sure what you mean by it does nothing.............

Yes I have it, it works very well, as in I've never chopped a ball. Basicly the only difference it makes is it puts a dent in the ball when you shoot it (thats if I has to be used.) I have also done things like stick my finger in the gun and let it "chop" my finger, lol pretty stupid, but it dosent ever hurt if you do it, the bolt just stops, like its suppost to. It works very well, I have set my board to 30 bps with a grav. hopper and shot full auto, it will only fire a ball every other shot, lol, but never chop.

The best part is it isn't a problem to use or own. U wont even know its there if you dont pay attention. You dont even have to re cock it if it engages. But it does its job, and well. And it takes NO extra effort to have. Just like everything else Tippmann makes, you can focus on your game, not your gun.

Just get a cyclone or other loader... No chopped balls.
