Well it turns out that both of my subs are completley blown so I'm looking to get 1 new sub for my truck.

I might be able to get a pretty good deal on a 12" Type X but the only problem is they only come in 4 ohm DVC so i would have to wire it to 2 ohms. When my amp is at 2 ohms bridged it overheats very quickly.

Question is, is there anyway i could somehow wire one 4ohm DVC sub to 4 ohms so my amp doesnt overheat?

alright on DVC subs there 2 connections to get a 4ohm load out of it only hookup one set of connections

but yeah if your amp cant handle 2ohms then i would suggest looking for a new one
