I was down at the local pb store getting my gun repaired (in storage for a few years) and we were talking about the new paintball stuff (god i missed this sport). I was told about the apex the clerk told me it does add range to the paintball and the ability to curve, as apposed to the flatline just adding range. Yet im reading on here that the apex doesnt add range. Can anyone confirm the truth to this before i go and buy one.

they both utilize ball spin. the apex system is adjustable, meaning you can attempt to change in what directiont he ball moves.

While they both do get extra distance if set up properly, this extra distance is usually unusable as the balls wont' break because they're moving so slowly. Also, the second you start spinning a liquid filled gelatin ball with a seam on it...strange things happen. Because of these reasons i'd not reccomend either of them.
