Hey I have a Benchmade knife. It has a titanium armor piercing blade that lubricates itself as it stabs into someone.

Now, it needs to be cleaned, will water work on this stuff on the blade? I'm really knew to knifes.

Armor piercing blade? I'm sorry, but I think if you take a sharp enough (pointwise not bladewise) blade it will go through "armor" just as well. IS this made for kevlar or ceramic plates?

Aparently it's made for kevlar.

My cousin got me it, and he explaned it to me, but I just don't know much about blades.

Yeah... I'm pretty sure even my workhorse s&w tactical folder will punch through kevlar. Its like a thick cloth. Its not the magical body armor everyone thinks (since they play too many video games) Its to slow down objects before they enter the skin, not to stop them completely. I mean sure it'll probably do a good job at a .22 from 150 yards away, but not if its up against something worthwhile like a .45 from close range.

EDIT: BTW this thread is worthless without pics!!!! thumup: thumup:

The term "bulletproof" is a misnomer since these vests (depending on their armor level, see below) may provide little or no protection against rifle ammunition or even against handgun ammunition fired from a pistol-caliber carbine. The exception is the common .22 LR ammunition, which can usually be stopped by these vests even when fired from a rifle. These vests are usually protective against handgun ammunition fired from handguns (once again, depending on their armor level.)

I have a question that will answer your question. Now, how many people, do you think I want to kill? Do you think when I asked for a knife I requested for it to lubricate itself while killing someone? Or have a coating on it that will pass through kevlar quite easily? No.

Now people, unless you want to talk about knifes, answer my question, or just have a funny post, say it. If you don't just GTFO. Thanks.

It had a special coat on it that gets slippery when wet.

Well I do carry books and binders with me, and instead of looking like a douchebag freshman and taking up 30 square yards of space in the hallways with a backpack that sticks out 9 feet, I put stuff in my locker.

i have a butterfly knife i bought at the beach for like 7 bucks.
if i wanted to kill someone I think it would work.
/my contribution.
I throw butterflys all day, butterflys are not for running and knifing, they are for tricks, and if you throw the butterfly at someone the handle might hit em, do no damage, and now he has your knife, so therefore, your ****ed.

BTW any knife will kill someone, and if you got it for 7$ the quality must suck.
