i just quit work cause college starts again soon, and im bored as hell, so im messing with desktop dyno

im building 3 equally built engines, on the most popular manufacturer platforms, and i wanna see who makes the most bang for the buck.

so, with nissan, honda, dsm, and toyota, what are their popular engines for performance?

with honda, i can have either the 1.5, 1.9, or 2.2
nissan i'll just do the 3.0 6 cylinder
dsm, i can have either 1.5, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0. or 2.4
and with toyota, i think once again like nissan, their 4 cylinders arent too popular , and its all about the I6's, so its 2.5, 2.8, or 3.0

thanks, if im really bored i'll do fine tunes, and put the graphs on my photobucket and post them on here if anyones interested

alright, i did a basic build, with mild heads, mild cam, 10psi boost, (alot more details i'll add later) and basically the 4 cylinders averaged 200-250hp, 6 cylinders averaged 325-350 hp, and the v8's averaged 450hp. nothing to exciting.

Now when im really bored, im gonna fine tune each single motor, and post all the specs for each one, but thats not until i really have no life...... probably in 3 hours, lol

Yeah, Im not sure about the others, but the stock turbocharged engines should be getting more boost that that.

Sumsimple can prolly shed more light on it that I can.

I think 4g63's do like 12-16 stock.
Its more like 9-12. There's no point in running a T25 on a dsm at 16psi. Its just plain stupid. 14B on the other hand actually will serve a purpose. BTW, can we have suggestions for certain motors to build?
