Ok I have a lot of paint to barrel questions
First what barrels do you prefer
I know thats been asked before I'm shooting a 05 Proto Matrix(check rate my marker). I think I'm going to get an ultralite
I'm thinking .688 14' barrel for $109 from Dye
what about a dye ironman boomstick
can anyone find something they like better (maybe a SP or stiffi, tell me what you think)
I usually shoot marbelizer
or Peg Ball (from Pegleg Paintball)
I'm thinking about shooting Proto as well
What other balls work well with a .688
in your experience is .688 good for that paint or should I go with .69
How bout 12, 14, or 16 inch
anyways tell me what bore you like with what paint
then what barrel you like and what length

get a barrel kit so you can fit all paint.. and one size paint is no better or worse than the other(consisdering it fits the barrel) becouse th4 size diffrence is so little, and if there was a diffrence from .688 to .69 as far as accurace or what ever, it wouldnt be noticable..

I've felt the same way thats why I was asking
I was looking at a freak kit as a possibility in place of an Ultralite or stiffi.
I've used an ultralite and liked it. I've never used a stiffi
ninja do you like your ultralite
what bore and length is it?
oh and what paint do you use?
also dye ironman boomstick or ultralite?

I'd look into the Stiffi Switch kit if you're willing to spend that much. I've never tried it but i've heard awesome things about it and you'll have a muchh lesser(is that a word?) chance of not having a perfect paint to barrel match.

If you are looking at kits, I would look at the switch kit. I have played with a freak kit and wasn't all that impressed. If you are staying away from a kit, I would say the UL is a good way to go, just do as huey said and get a .693 back to go along with your .688.

Edit: And check this out. I took it from the barrels and paint section

Paintball bore sizes: http://www.ottersccustoms.com/paintc.html

Barrel bore sizes: http://www.ottersccustoms.com/barrelc.html

Should give you a good idea of what paint would be good to use with what barrel.
