And ****ing liberals want full disclosure on American troop activity over there. To eradicate these bastards, the military needs more classification and less bureaucratic intervention.

If generals ran this war, it'd be over and 99.9% of terrorists would be dead or in prison. Since its congressmen/women that run the show, soldiers are sitting over there with one hand tied behind their backs while innocent people die.

Thanks, libs.

Reminded me of a few passages from The Art of War:

Chapter X Passage 24: The General who advances without coveting fame and retreats without fearing disgrace, whose only thought is to protect his country and do good service for his sovereign, is the jewel of the kingdom.

Chapter III Passage 14 (2): [A ruler can bring misfortune upon his army] By attempting to govern an army in the same way as he administers a kingdom, being ignorant of the conditions which obtain an army.

Chapter III Passage 17: Thus we may know that there are five essentials for victory:
1) He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.
2) He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.
3) He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks.
4) He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
5) He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign.

I just thought I'd share some 2,500-year-old wisdom, much of which still applies today.

Dude its morons like you who make this war hard for everybody by splitting our country. Don't take out your anger on anybody, especially the opposite political party, it makes you look like an idiot. Many liberals only wish to exit the war because it is such a horrible thing. IF you agree on how horrible the war is, you will at least show some respect for those who don't share your exact beliefs.

^^^ under the rights of our country, we don't have to respect librals. Just not outrigh kill them.
i not asking for your respect & sure as **** didn't expect it, i am asking for you to respect the fact that our country must be as unified as possible in a time of war. I do not consider myself a Rep or A Dem. when i can vote i will not EVER be so ignorant to vote soley on political party. If you yourself have half of a mind you will know that you must draw from both aspects of our political system. The worst thing that could happen to the government is if either political party got complete control of the senate, executive , and judicial offices. WHY you might ask? because there would be no deliberation, just a buch of people who believe the EXACT same thing. and then our government would cease to be a democracy, instead it would be like a shared monarchy

Alright cool, don't agree with the war, but PLEASE realize that now that we are there we can't just up and leave. We are there, we must stay and finish what we started, regardless whether we are there for a legit reason or not. Many people are complaining about the war and how horrible it is, which is great, express your opinion, but please realize that these soldiers need to be fully funded with our full support so they can get their job finished as quickly as possible. It seems as if these anti-war people don't realize that if they would stop complaining and work to support the soldiers, the war would end quicker. It's just ignorant of them to want to pull out of Iraq in it's current state. We started a job, and we must finish it.

Hey see this guy ^^^ at least he can respect others opinions even without agreeing with them. Thank you

To elaborate on what i said before, i choose from both liberal and conservative beliefs and can make decisions based on what I believe not what my party believes. For example, I support the war and believe it was neccicary, i Don't agree with the way bush handles internal affairs( social security and such ) i dont support abortion . So if you see where i am getting at. i can choose from these two divided set of belifs and When it comes time to vote, and when i am of proper age, i will base my vote on how close the presidential candidates comes To MY set of beliefs, not those of a political party.

And what is their (real) job, their purpose for being there?
establishing a stable government that wont collapse.

Look at Germany, look at Japan, 50 years later and we're still in those countries. Iraq will take time too.

and 9/11 had plenty of innocent people killed, we've had our fair share too.

Rice, you are naive and so is your thought process. If our boys in uniform could fight strategically without a bunch of bull**** red tape, then Iraq would be a much safer place, for the world, and for its inhabitants.

How am i naive? I support the war and know that it is a costly but very neccecary thing, what i do not support is the constant bashing of the other political party, dems bashing reps, and likewise. to choose a common set of beliefs and pass judgement on those who don't share yours, that my friend is Naive
