Looked into it further, In truth, under boring dosn't actualy cause barrel breaks, Its failures in paint, usualy when loading. Plus most paint will fit this barrel with no problems.
So change of subject a bit, will my new 14" .685 barrel be more accurate then my 11" .689?

Breaks and chops are two different things and using a bore that is way too small for the paint will cause breaks with every shot. I don't know who told you otherwise but they don't have a clue what they are talking about.

I think he means, is you can underbore to a certain extent and not get breaks.Which is obviously true.

I have used a .679 barrel for the past 3 years, and I haven't had any problems breaking paint. Now, 7 or 8 years ago when the paint was a bigger, I would break every shot.
