BTW, I sport Dual P4 Xeon 3.2ghz CPUs w/HT, overclocked and liquid cooled at 3.9ghz (Each, that is) running PC4200 RAM @ 1:1 with FSB.
So yeah, AMD to me is just a budget CPU. It'll work fine, most times it all you'll ever need, but if you want more, you pay for it.
Don't get me wrong, I have a couple AMD boxes, one is an awesome gaming rig with a Barton 2500+ overclocked to 3200+. Its all you'll need for most top end games. For my primary gaming computer I use a liquid cooled 2.4c P4 clocked at 3.22ghz. (If ya didn't notice, I love to overclock)
