Hey guys im new to paint ball and would like some opinions. I play woodsball/urban kind of games at a local feild. I heard about the apex barrel and read the sticky but would like to know a little more.
Q1 How much farther does it shoot than a normal barrel?
Q2 what does it mean by being able to control the curve? Can you actually control the direction that it curves in.
And also my friend says that the balls dont break as easily on someone from a distance. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

It doesn't shoot much further at all. With barrels like the Flatline and Apex all you are doing is taking the normal arch of a shot from regular barrel and turning it into a straighter trajectory. You get a little extra distance but your friend is right in that they rarely break at the added distance. The Apex does give you a fun little curve effect that you can control but it is more of a novelty than anything else you aren't going to suddenly be able to hit everyone behind cover or anything like that. If you are buying an Apex for added distance save your money but if you want it for a little extra bit of fun you won't be disappointed.
