The zip kit upgrades my spyder xtra to an electronic frame and a new regulator plus a new valve and a different pressure chamber for 180$. Or i could buy a new gun such as Spyder Fenix, Tes, or mongoose for the same price (about ranging from 190-250$). So what should i do???

If i were u i would buy a spyder shutter. They might not be the flashyest or eletronic but mine is really strong and deadly accurate. But u might just want to buy a eletronic hopper for it

For $180, you can get Spyder imagine, or better yet a Rodeo with a e-frame. You can get a Rodeo with a e-frame for like $100 on eBay. Keep all your ups that were on the Xtra, and get a e-framed Rodeo, put the 12 inch Progressive, and 12v revvy on the e-framed rodeo, and you have a awesome gun, for cheaper than that Zip kit, and to top it off, you now have 2 guns, so you can let someone borrow one, if you hafta....always nice to have 2 guns!!

Wow. You both just told him to "upgrade" from one spyder to another. Thats not an upgrade, thats just dumb.

No, you should not buy another spyder. No, you shouldn't get a zip kit.

Save your money. Spend it on a new (not-spyder-clone) gun. Like a cocker, mag, or bko. Maybe you need a nitro tank. Just please, don't blow another 200 on a spyder clone, or upgrading one.

Spyders are great first markers, but thats all they are.

Hey, if he wants to stick to a spyder, let him....no ones stopping him. Yeah, Spyders are great first guns, but they are also nice guns. I dont plan on getting a new gun, when my Spyder is fin for what I use it for. Also, I like how I can take it apart easily and clean it. Afro, its your choice, go with what you feel is good. If you want to keep your Spyder, go right ahead. If you feel its too wimpy, get a BKO, Impulse, Cocker, or Mag...whatever you feel is good...

No one is "dissing" him. We just want to make sure he gets what is best, what he will be most happy with.

I strongly suggest that you save up another 100 and get a bko. The tes isn't going to be much nicer than your extra.

It has eyes, and an e-frame. Thats it.

DUDE NO! Get the zip kit! w/ it ur gun will be better than a diablo or TES. Its much much much better than any blowback clone eyes or not! It makes the gun electropnuematic like a T1, or a imp (at least i think similar to a imp). This will give it less kick=more accuracy. And it has eyes right? Plus the cap is like 20bps fast as u'll need.

Or bko, +hpa, can't go wrong there. Just dont buy another spyder/spyder clone!!!!

i guess it would depend on how much you play and how serious of a player you are. personally i have a fenix and if i could go back, save another $100 or whatever and buy a different marker, i wouldnt. its the perfect marker IMO. its a good balance between performance and budget. with a e-hopper and barrel, you have quite a marker that will perform extremely well.
my old marker was a spyder rodeo and when i got a fenix of course people ask why i went to another spyder, but those same people also ate my paint later that day so there is nothing wrong with spyders.
