All right guys. I know for a fact I’m not the only guy going. Who else on this forum is planning to attend? Also what side are you planning to be on?

For those of you thinking of going but you aren’t sure, let me give you a run down on it. The game starts with the allies waiting to insert onto the field via transports. The Nazis are waiting out in the woods for them. The battleship NJ comes around and pounds the hell out of us, and then the artillery of water balloons and paint grenades hits. After that the gates drop, and out comes the allies!

Last year the allies made it off the beach head in about 1 hour and fifteen minutes. They didn’t get too far inland, and were raped by us Nazis the whole entire day, night, and into the next morning. Lots of fun!

Anyway, if some PBF guys want to meet up somewhere just for kicks let me know. I’ll hand out my cell number before the trip, not sure if it’ll work up there. But it’s worth a try! Also we’re going to be bringing a grill up, so any member of PBF that wants some food is welcome to find us…

All right, that’s all. Hope to get a good turn out!

I was gonna go until just yesterday. Then my ride pulled out. Now I'm going on a mission trip, so it's all good. :)

Most people going are bringing tippies... What's up with that? I guess because everyone hears that Tippies are the best scenario guns. Sigh...

Have you talked to the new German general? He's on PBN. I got flamed by him. My first brush with royalty.

WHAT!!!!! they changed Generals!?!?!?!? NOOOOO!!!!!

Last year our General was great. "Go win!" and win we did! lmfao. This new guy better not be a pansy.

And yes, everyone uses tippy's, it's great. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. ;)

On a side note, where are you going on your missions trip? I'm a youth leader, and i went to England 4 years ago on one, and i'm going to Vermont this August.

England? Lol. Sounds fun. I always thought they were pretty religous. For Europeans, at least. ;)

I guess I'm not any better. We're just going up to Memphis. We're gonna paint houses in a poor part of town, teach in the homeless shelter there, and help out a local church. I use the term "mission trip" loosely, since we are only spending one day actually preaching/teaching. It's not going to be half as intense as my mission trip to Mexico. Thank god* I've been taking Spanish since kindergarden.

*Really. Do. I converted 2 people and built a playground with a friend (he was my "mission partner.") We did so well (amazingly), that a church was started there. Probably the best feeling I've ever had.

I leave for my missions trip today. I'm going to Vancouver, British Columbia (for the layman, that's in Canadia!)

trumpet, thanks for getting us back on topic. Apparently a bunch of teams that played for the allies last year decided to join forces with the best teams on the german side. Now they're all germans. The guy leading the allies has never comanded any group this size before and is new to the scenario game genre

I'm going to the D-day thingy. I'm coming with two friends, so you'll see fastecho lightin' up some Nazi's. Or Americans. Depending on which side I play on. Do we get to choose?
