Looking for an electric hopper. I've found a used egg 3 for $25 shipped. And halo, think its a b, and 4 pods for $35 shipped. The egg is in good condition, just scratched. The halo has no original lid, and the speed feed is broken, I can get a new one ~$5 shipped though. The shell is only scratched from what I can see. The only keeping my from buying the halo is the fact I'll be using model magic reballs, they easily jam in halos when you fire more than a few bps. Eggs are not affected by them though, and for $25 shipped, that will leave me $10 for whatever else I want, probably pods. I don't need a halo than can feed 25bps, an egg 3 that can shoot around 20bps is more than I'll ever need too. I'm leaning towards, the egg 3, and buying the pods separate. Just want to hear you're opinions.

the halo will out preform the eggy in every single way.

whoever told you that the egg can actually feed that fast is incorrect. I used to think the same way till i got a halo. I have never touched my eggy since that day.

edit:

Wait, what are model magic balls? I know that halos and reballs dont' get along very well, but i have no clue what a model magic balls is

Even with the z-board? If its just a regular halo, not a halo b, should I still get it? I might also see if I can get an invert too or eye force for about the same price.

The eggy feeds about 15~17 bps and its not force. While your not going to shoot that fast its not going to give you a consistent feed rate as a halo would, I'd just spend the extra $$$$ for a better loader.

Model magic reballs, are made out of Crayola Model Magic. They have the same problem as reballs, due to the beads in halos and reloaders. Ideally I'd like the Invert Too, since it doesn't use the beads, and is better than a VL. But, I'd be happy with the VL.

I really don't care about the looks, although the eye force looks a bit blocky. Doesn't matter though. If I can't get an eye force or too by the end of tomorrow, I'm probably getting the egg 3.

EDIT: I'm getting the egg 3, need the money for a clamping feedneck.

Eh, the Halo is the best choice BESIDES the fact that some halo type loaders hate reballs.
Eggs work very well with reballs for the fact that there's nothing for the reballs to get jammed on.

If you play reball most of the time you play, I would honestly reccommend the Eggy or some other type og agitating (not forcefeed) loader.
Perhaps a Revvy or a Ricochet Apache if you can find one used
