Hi everyone,
I seem to have a problem with my etha. A couple days ago i was at the field and i tried to turn it on and it was fine, flashing yellow because no ball in breach then blue when there was. I go to crony and i pull the trigger and all of a sudden it went to flashing purple very quickly. Thinking i had paint in there i swab it out and still same thing, blue light then i pull the trigger and a fast flashing purple one. I thought that the eyes were just being weird so i turned them off and still nothing is happening, no shots or air coming out or leaks. I dont know what to do to fix it i tried the manual and searching online but nothing could solve the problem. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

First of all, I'd like to address this "chrony" you speak of. I've seen it spelled like that previously on other places, and it makes me curious. Is that a typo, or are the kids really calling it that?

You could have a low battery. Try a fresh one. Iv'e found that a good portion of shooting issues are caused by a low battery.
After pressing the trigger, I see flashin purple light

If that doesn't try resetting your board back to default. It seems to help others who have this issue.
You reset it by holding the tournament lock button on the side of your board for five seconds, you will see a flashing blue light

If that doesnt' work, lube the bolt properly. It could just be really dry.

Tried lubing the bolt and factory reseting, gotta give the battery a try I'm going to get on that right after this to see if i have any. As for the "chrony" i know its a chronograph i normally call it that but yes i have been hearing "chrony" a lot, most of the time i call it chronograph but the repeated amount of hearing it yes, i am guilty of saying it every once in awhile. You caught me in a weak moment :') i also have the springless poppet so i don't think its that

If you make it through ALL of Martix's troubleshooting and problem solving and still have no luck:

A purple flashing light on my Etek meant there was an eye-fault. The first time this happened to me, they weren't aligned properly. Paint shell got into the little eye-hole and the eyes weren't behaving as the board expected them to. Quick toothpick to eye-hole....bam. Fixed.

The second time, I tried the same idea, no luck, and replaced my eyes. It now works as intended

Just...save yourself the $30 and don't dive into something drastic if you don't need to. Often times, players choose to throw money at a problem that only needs 2 minutes time and a toothpick.

low batteries can cause a lot of different things, if the purple is the board saying there is an eye fault it could be that the eyes are simply not getting enough power and therefor the board thinks there is something wrong with them

Iv heard chrony before, heard Chrono more but chrony is just slang
