Ok, guys and gals. I always thought Id love to play in a big game/scenario, and it looks like in Sept I will be going to Waynes World in Ocala to play in the 24 hr Emerald Triangle game. From talking briefly to an old pro while at work the other day he is going to try to get about 50 players from our area to go(ones has 2 tanks!!!). But what I didnt get a chance to ask him was what to expect. As far as registering, etc, what to bring. We plan on getting there the night before and camping out, I guess he knows a place to camp. I know to bring change of clothes, lots of socks, etc. Anything else? How long does it usually take to get everything in order to play? How do they "pick" teams? Do they base your position (medic, secret agent, engineer) on your experience playing or random drawing? Can you decide? Honestly being a medic doesnt sound like much fun, lol. Do you switch roles every so often? And also, Im still kind new, so how are the other players? I honestly like to chit chat with other players almost as much as playing. Thanks for any input. Most of the people here are really awesome.

Try checking the scenario sticky, you'll find most if not all your information that you requested there. The only thing i can think that isnt there, is the roles and how to get them.

Typically you request them, that is the only way to get them. Roles are actually loads of fun, but they almost never switch during the game.

Check out the sticky, anymore info you need PM me.
