WOOHOO!! I had just adjusted my sundragon trigger to the perfect position where I could keep up a pretty high BPS rate that must have been close to or at the board's cap, and all the sudden the trigger turns off. I unscrewed the covers, thinking a solder I made on the switch must have broken off, and as I'm fiddling with the wires, the lights turn on and off whether or not the safety is on. Finally, SMOKE coming from the circled part of the board on the picture below. It still turns on randomly as I'm fiddling with the wires, but never for more than one trigger press. It's like Kingman didn't expect their buyers to fire consistently at the board's cap, and it just couldn't take the heat.
Oh well, I went paintballing yesterday and a ref asked if I was in any tourneys (I'm not and never have been) and complimented my play style, saying I would rip if I had a more mid-range gun (I'm still glowing from that comment :)). I guess it's just fate.

Ok, so I had bought a CAMD board off Ebay to replace my old IPI one, and I just got it, slapped it in and tried it out. MAN this board lets you rip so much faster than that crappy old one did. I thought I was bad at walking the trigger before, but it turns out I was surpassing the board's 13bps limit. I don't know what bps rate semi is limited to on the CAMD one, but I sure haven't reached it. The only problems are the board isn't exactly inline with the viewing window on the grip (it's close enough), and the charging port isn't in the same spot.
For $20, this board is a cheap and effective upgrade for those with E Spyders who only care about semi.

wait! if i buy a new board I can increase my BPS? I thought I was shooting the markers max, not my boards!!! That must be why my board angine dooohicky is getting stuck lately! I NEED A NEW BOARD NOW!!!!!!!
revelation much? you know you knew that, somewhere?
if you can get there you can shoot just as fast as whoever with whatever gun, as long as the board allows it, the marker can allow it, and you time your trigger pulls right.
