I was home so I took the Cobra out for a ride since it was nice out. There was a mustang/FoMoCo show at a Ford dealer in Butler (NJ), so I went over to check it out. What a great show, lots of real clean nice cars. After that I went over to the local car show in Garwood and hung out there.

On the way home I saw a Shelby Cobra kit car on the highway, so I played around with him for a bit. We were pretty even, we just gave each other the thumbs up and went our seperate ways.

At 3:00 I had to leave to go back to school, but apparently there was a Ferrari/Maserati show nearby that just ended because I saw atleast 30 F/Ms. I got behind a group of three of them and did about 100mph almost all the way to the PA border, which shorted my 4hour trip by about 20 minutes

(somewhere around Newton two 360's started racing and the rest followed, with me losing them since I can't do over 115 in the truck) :(

Here's some pictures:

Sounds like a blast man. Nice looking cars. Did you take any of your cars to the shows or did you just go and look around?
I took the my '03 Cobra, but I didn't enter it in the show because I knew I couldn't stay the whole day. I don't think I would have won anything anyway, a lot of the cars there were so perfect it was amazing. There was one hard top '04 Cobra that looked like the guy never drove it anywhere, they wasn't a spec of rust or oxidation on the whole car. There were classic Shelby mustangs there restored so perfectly they even had the paper tags that came under the hood and the window stickers.

Is that 21 car a Daytona Cobra?
It's a GT40, I think it was a super performance kit, but I didn't get a great look at it.

You gotta be ****ting me. I was at that car show too at the ford dealer on 23!

Wow.

See how their changing it to Nissan? I thought that was pretty funny. Why'd you go up by Newton to go to school? Thats way outta your way if I'm thinking correctly.
Well, I meant the Newton exit off Route 287 (or is that still 24? I forget). I take 24, to 287, to 80 west and then I stay on 80 until exit 158.

What time where you there? I went from around 10:00am to 11:30am. To bad we missed each other, if I had known I would have taken you for a ride or something.

Wasn't it a nice show? I took my father and he spent the whole time talking to guys with new GT500's asking them if they are having any problems yet (I guess he wanted to know what to expect when he gets his). He almost fell over when he asked the guy what he paid for the black vert. Who pays $77,000 for a $40,000 mustang?

When I started I had larger pictures, but I resized them all before I posted to try to keep it enjoyable. It's still a lot though.

They made two versions, the street car and the race car, you just don't see to many of the street versions anymore. They had a full length exhaust (no side pipes), bumpers, a luggage rack, ect. The street version was still faster then the vette. :)
