what is it about a barrel that makes it better than another??

porting, durability, gas efficiencey (not much diference in gas efficiency) and overall quality

that was wut i was thinking when i was gettin my barrel, i thought, should i get the AA or the teardrop? and then i tested both and they both were lyk exactly the same, so i went w/ the teardrop.

sometimes its just the hype, like if a pro uses the barrel, everyone else wants to use it, or if its a 2 peice barrel, people think that makes it better, but its prety much just the porting, and hone of the bore, some of the higher priced barrels have a better finish to the bore, making it smoother and more consistent
