Well , finally got some clean pics of my GTP, and thought I'd post some up. Please excuse the ghetto intake, as it is now been replaced. I'm kinda having a delimma. I want to sell it, but if I can't within the next few weeks, I'm thinking of getting some parts for her, I.E. Statmatta Turbo Kit and a ZZP Race trans, with some ZZP Stage 2 heads, and an SX2 Turbo cam. Right now the car runs [email protected], but launching her is a pita. I still want to get a car of LS1 quality, but with the parts I have in mind, I can push the car into the 11s. Or, I could go with a genV blower and be happy with 12s. I'm still trying to get rid of it, but if I can't I think I'm gonna mod it even more.

I hate the color, but otherwise sweet car. I'd get some stainless mesh grilles to go with the badging. Anyway, that's a pretty hefty list of stuff for your car man. How much is all that gonna run you? I'd say about 3k+. Because of your current 1/4 mile time, i'd stay w/ a blower. A turbo won't show that much increase unless you really dump some money into it. The trans is a good buy (stock sucks). The heads are, too. I'm not sure about the cam though. Make sure you're prepared for some bigger gas bills if you go for it. Have you considered rockers, headers, and a cat-back? I'd spring for some TOG headers, a good cat-back, and then the trans. Good luck man.

*edit* I forgot to mention that if you haven't already bought a Knock Scanner you HAVE to buy one. You can seriously **** up your car without one. They only cost like $80, and it's one of the best things you can buy for your car.

Turbo will do a lot more for me than that Eaton M90. That's the only reason I'm upgrading the trans. Cat-Back, worthless unless you have a bit more mods. The stock piping is more than suffecient, and the GTP mufflers actually aren't too bad. Knock? What Knock? I scanned, and I pull 0 at WOT, while some people with the same mods will get anywhere between 1-5 counts of knock. Gotta love that Aeroforce Interceptor Gauge. I really don't want to mod anymore seeing how all of this will get expensive really quick.
BTW, my mods so far are:
3'' FWI
3'' DP
3.4'' Pulley
180* T-Stat
NGK TR6 Plugs
ZZP v1.0 PCM

haha, thepunkdrummer is talking serious mods, and you're telling him to go with bolt ons cause they'll yield more power.

I hear him on that one. I've nailed my launches perfectly before; I've beat an 01 Cobra out of the hole at the track before. But, if I don't, then I spin badly.

Lol, totally random, but anyone want to buy her or know anyone that wants to?

The car has 110k on the clock; high, but the car has been to texas and back, plus I drive 60 miles everyday to school and back. I'm looking to get five-ish out of her.
