It will be interesting to say the least. One of the biggest flaws I have with Blu Ray is that to get so much data on the disc there is hardly nothing protecting the data. The slightest scratch causes disk problems. This can be fixed, but it's a tough task.
Consumers will pay anything for a product if the marketing is good enough. However, I don't see this happening with Blu Ray, and it seems like they are losing ground. PS3 was handled very poorly by Sony, which is terrible because I love Sony & PS, and it could have been amazing.
