save and buy a better marker. you're never going to get the same performance out of a spyder as something better. you may not have the money now, but save and get something better. It'll be worth it. if you were going to buy anything now, go with a HPA tank and an electronic hopper because those can be transfered to a new marker.

"CIP Spyder Sweet Spot Stick Trigger"

- Take the stock trigger out of the gun and file it flat. Bam- A blade trigger. Drill and tap it for set screw trigger stops and it's even better. Go out on a limb, drill it and the frame and magnet mod it for an extra $3.

"Shocktech Spyder Rear-Cocking Supa-fly Bolt"

- Take the venturi out of the stock bolt and polish it up. Probably end up being better than the shock tech bolt.

"Chrome Spyder Custom Products Drop Forward"

- You can home make a drop too, but this is something that is possible to take to another marker or sell fairly easy afterwards.

"14" Black Smart Parts Spyder Freak Junior Barrel"

Up to you. I wouldn't though.

Get the hopper, or a better, faster one. HPA is good as well since you can take it to a new gun or sell it off easy...if its in good shape.

It's rare to find a stock spyder bolt with the venturi still in it. They get better air flow without them, so most spyder owners will junk them. If you sell it, noone will look inside the bolt and get upset when they see a lack of venturi. If it really bothers you, it does thread in so it could be reinstalled if you want.

As for the trigger. part, filing it flat is pretty self explaining. The magnet mod basically replaces the trigger return spring with a set of opposed (pushing) magnets. It's a really smooth pull with these, and it's cheap with just the cost of the magnets and some high grade glue. If you're not cool with drilling your trigger and frame, you can stay away from it easy enough. Nothing major is lost if you don't do it. The set screw stops allow you to adjust the trigger to be more precise. The stock trigger has a screw on the top to set the front play, the space before it touches the switch. If you drill the trigger and add some more stops, you can also adjust the position it does trip the switch, and also the distance it moves after it hits the switch.

These mods, and more, are covered in more detail and with instructions in our Spyder forum.
