ok i just got a nerve and i hooked up my compressed tank up to it (4500) to shoot it. i shot about 250you balls out of it and when i turned the asa offand took the tank off i seen it used a **** ton of air. i checked for leaks and there are none. can anyone tell me why its a air hog

they were never known for their great air efficiency. Smart parts was always trying to convince people that 200psi was a better pressure to run markers at but really what it came down to is if the whole marker runs at around 200psi then that eliminates the need for them to put a LPR on the marker. consequently running a firing pressure and operating pressure of 200 psi yields some fairly terrible efficiency due to the volume of air that is then needed to fire the paintball

if it makes you feel any better my shocker 4x4 gets 500 shots off a 68/45
