I'm looking at getting some online games for PS2, and I saw the network adaptor. Now i knew you need that, but do you need anything else? My brother told me you need to get another DSL or Cable modem and hook it or connect it to the PS2. If that's the case, than I don't think I'm going to do it. Does anyone know if that's true?

So all I'm going to need is a network adaptor, and another DSL modem? I think I'm going to have to buy another one because my PS2 isnt near any computers. But anways, is that all I need?

Linksys makes a wireless thing that i think picks up a signal from one of their wireless routers that you can attach to a game system, I don't have one, but i do have a wireless linksys router which is nice. But the router is in the same room as the PS2, so i just run a cable from the router to the console.

*Edit: This is in response to Aggression. You can also do it how Maxsilver said (wireless routers)*

No...Buy the Network Adapter. Then buy a router (NOT a hub). I suggest a Linksys router (one of these: http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=34&scid=29&prid=561 ) It may be expensive, but it's worth it. If you ever get another computer, you just need another Ethernet wire and you'll be connected in no time. Ok, so now you have the N.A. and a router. Buy a Ethernet (or Cat-5, whatever you wanna call it) wire (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?sid=3FC933006404617F&product_code=50053124&pfp=SEARCH ) and run from your router to your N.A.

Now you are all set.

im using a Linksys router and the wireless B adaptor this setup works great! here the like to the adaptor im using.http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=38&prid=550 i dont have any lag unless its from the other end and its simple to use. my whole setup was about $240 including the Sony network adaptor, wireless router, and game adaptor. so it isnt cheap to do wireless just less headache.
