HELP tippmann a5 rapid firing

It's not recocking properly.
There's a lot of things that can cause this
Lack of oil
Low air pressure (tank output pressure not amount in the tank)
Low air flow
Weak sear spring
Friction/restriction in the bolt/hammer movement
Do you happen to have a flatline on it? If so, try removing the bolt tip o ring and going without it. Long story short tippmann didn't do enough R&D and that o ring hits the flatline barrel causing the bolt to stop. This in turn stops the hammer from opening the valve fully which in turn means low velocity and issues recocking
If not, put a barrel swab down the barrel and fire, does it recock with the swab?

It's on semi auto but when I pull the trigger it sputters

Yeah it could be a ton of things unfortunately. In addition to the list I have above,
Weak main spring
Velocity adjustment way too far out
Rounded sear, worn hammer catch
Hammer o ring failure, faulty/wrong size
Do you have any way of testing what the output pressure of your tank is?
What happens when you put a barrel swab down the barrel?
Do you have a CO2 tank you can try instead?
