Judging by the number of exclamation marks I'm going to assume you are a kid and this is your first marker. Are you using a chronograph? Again I'm going to make an assumption and guess you aren't. Try turning down the velocity and see if that helps. For all the Cyclone's faults it rarely chops but if your velocity is way too high you are going to be demolishing paintballs all day long.

i chrono my gun. and i am using the standard barrel the gun comes with. i know its a crappy barrel but it seems to work fine with other people's guns. i use diablo heat and JT paint mostly. i pretty sure the reason why it was braking my Diablo paint was one of the balls broke in the bag. then i tried to clean the paint. you think that was the problem. FYI all these barrel brakes were in one day

280 for indoor, wow thats pretty hot

friend of mine had a similar issue with a A-5, turns out that there was a bur of metal in the breach which was nicking paintballs as they left and appearing as barrel breaks. so id say take a close look at your breach and run your finger along where the two halves of the marker come together, if you feel a edge or bur sand it down

is the paint your using old at all? been sitting anywhere cold or hot?

if you wiped down the rest it shouldnt matter that much, as long as they are not super wet with paint you should not be seeing barrel breaks because of it

also id say take a handfull of paint at a time and put it in the cyclone so you can see it being fed into the marker, fire one ball at a time and see if the cyclone is doing anything funny, it may be cracking or breaking them as they go into the breach causing issues.

have you noticed any paint in the cyclone at all after it breaks one?

there were only some small chips. the first time i used the paint i had 3 breaks of 1000. the second time was like 400 breaks out of 1000. i had to clean and clean constantly. i really think it was the broken ball bc it seemed like it changed everything. remember im only talking about 1 day of balling that i had these 400 breaks. FYI the gun had no burs and the breach was good

dude seriously, just read, nobody helps by asking questions that have already been answered
The A5 can come with a Flatline and Egrip standard so it is a relevant question. Without knowing all the details it is hard to say just what the problem could be:

- Rate of fire too high for Cyclone if an Egrip is being used.
- Wrong paint for Flatline if applicable.
- Using paint too fragile for Cyclone.
- Cold weather.
- Old paint.
- Metal burs in breech or inside barrel.
- Paint fragments inside Cyclone causing feed issues.

alright fine, you guys can go nit pick every little thing a player says and get nowhere but when someone says "standard barrel" and knows what the flatline is its a safe assumption its the crappy aluminum tube tippmann sends with these, if the ROF was too high you would be seeing chopping either in the cyclone or the bolt, both of which are not the issue here so even if the marker does have a RT or E-grip it doesnt matter, he says he is using JT paint, JT is a lower end brand made with a thick shell for shelf life, this also helps it get through the cyclone, while not grounds for ruling out the paint since the cyclone is particularly harsh on everything it does make it less likely. weather is not a issue he is playing indoors, metal bur in the breach has been covered already, he says he was cleaning it constantly and unless you consider leaving paint inside your marker "clean" im going to assume he cleaned out anything that got into the cyclone, even if he didnt however you shouldnt be seeing 4/5 of the paint break

ok does that cover everything? should we ask him what color the marker or paint is? it may have a impact

i dont mean to sound harsh but all this info is above in the posts, all you have to do is read before jumping in and asking things that have already been covered

thank you trbo so much. i will try different paint im almost positive that was the problem. the JT paint wasn't the problem though it was the DIABLO HEAT. the JT works good because the shell is thick. diablo is a pretty thin shell right????

I havent used too much of the diablo but from what I hear it is close to visible impact which does have a slightly thinner shell for low end. Buddy of mine used JT tactical through his A5 with good results. The tactical is a camo Paintball with a slightly thicker shell designed not to break when going through brush, the down side is you will see more bounces but as long as it gets through your marker that's better than what's happening now. If nothing else get your hands on some winter formula paint.
