PBF really does look dead. I miss the golden days of the PBF/PBN rivalry, being an obnoxious 13 year old (not really... well kinda), attempting to put a PBF clan for World of Warcraft together, telling stories that were completely untrue, pretending I knew so much more than I actually did, putting new kids on blast for no reason at all (who doesn't love some good hazing?), arguing about stupid ****, being jealous of everyone else's paintball gear and never being satisfied with my own, talking about paintball a hundred times more than I actually played it, getting my ass kicked at paintball tournaments (the only game my team ever won in CFOA was a points win when the last remaining enemy player brought the flag back to his base instead of taking it to ours), reffing at fields for the equivalent of like $4/hr... god, the list goes on and on.

Hope y'all are doing well. Life has been up and down for me recently... but that's why they call it life, I guess.

Funny thing that life is, no?

When you have all the time in the world, you never have the money to pursue your financially fueled passions.

When you have the capital to pursue your financially fueled passions, you have limited time in which to do so.

I'm one announcement away from making a decision about buying my all time dream-marker...and yet I've been to the field 2x in the past 3 months...and now I'm looking at the possibility of a start-up company..

....funny how things work.

It seems like you just summed up the entirety of the PBF "days of yore" If you know where to look, you can still see our mark on drawball.com.

IMO a lot of people were asshats just because they could be. As much as I got smeared around, I have no idea why I stuck it out. There were certainly some good times, but a lot of the members just used me as a whipping boy; it kinda sucked.

Hahaha I'm gonna side with Mike on this one. I never laid into you but I definitely remember when everyone would constantly go after you... And I also remember your complete inability to spell.

I'm 21 now Mike - life's pretty good. I remember a bunch of people telling me that drinking would get less exciting when I turned 21... yeah, bull**** on that one. It's so much more awesome now. I'm going to school, and I started up a car detailing company to keep the money flowing while I'm a student. Still living at home, unfortunately, so there's that. I also just picked up a new puppy about 6 weeks ago... Here's a picture of him from a week and a half ago when he went swimming for the first time: My little nugget learned to swim! - Imgur

How you been brother?

*edit*

I just went on Drawball... first off, I think they cleared the whole thing. There's a ton of white space now. Second off, that's the worst website of all time. There's a "mute" icon in the top left corner to get rid of the stupid sounds it makes, but if you move your mouse over it the button just moves away - so you can't mute it! What the ****...

I wonder if the dodgy is still in there somewhere.

Sweet pup man. Glad to hear you're doing well. Living at home is okay, just be sure you're saving your pennies! Not paying bills is great until you can get your feet on the ground, don't feel bad about it. I stuck around longer than I probably should have, haha.

Life's good for me though. Working a job I don't get paid enough to do, thinking about what I'm doing in the next few years to make the rest of my life easier, etc. That's something I've learned, there is no "Okay, I'm done" moment in life. Which kind of sucks, but at the same time it's good, you know? Playing some League of Legends most nights after work, hanging out with the opposite sex, etc. Standard things.

I'll still never forget the day I logged on your buddies warlock, and he raged at me and changed the password haha.

Yeah, I'm not really saving much at all. It's bad. I'm horrible with my money.

I wish there was an "Okay, I'm done" moment. I guess you could say that winning the lottery qualified. Oh lord, I forgot about that warlock. Yeah, my friend was not pleased. Hell hath no fury like a nerd raging. You got a girl you're seeing these days? I just broke it off with a manipulative ***** that I wasted five months with... thankfully I wised up and ended it instead of wasting more time.

Give it a couple more years and it loses its luster. I still do it a lot, but it's a lot more contained. Only really wild 'n out once every couple weeks. 'Til then, drink 'em if you got 'em.

It may be more of a responsibility thing as well as getting older. You just can't drink like you used to be able to, as you get older. The lower quality stuff is unacceptable, so you're spending more money. You also don't recover as quickly and have responsibilities in life that won't allow you to stay up until 5 am anymore.:(

Money is something you'll figure out. And yeah, girls are neat. Sorry to hear about that ****, good you got rid of her!
Yeah, **** happens. Just gotta forget about her and move on.

What's blowing my mind right now is that we still have censors in place here. And money... yeah, I'm working on it.

See, I really didn't drink that much before I turned 21. I never had a fake ID, so I never really went to bars or anything until I turned 21. I burned through my desire to go to bars (as well as my available funds) about 6 months after turning 21, and I've settled into just drinking quality beer every couple days. I don't really get drunk often at all... it's just not worth the cost.

That's another big part of it... I swear, I never got hungover before I turned 21. Then, somehow, my body flipped a switch and now I'm feeling it for two straight days after I get ****ed up.

not sure what prompted me to even come here, just wanted to drop in and say WHAT'S UP.

It's crazy looking at this forum, because there's so much old school **** here. Even the layout and smilies are so dated!
What's fun is that it still looks pretty much the same. Does anyone have screenshots from before we were bought out by whatever group owns us now?

There's actually a few studies right now that are speaking the opposite. The older you get, the less severe the hangovers actually are - though they're all of the idea that you're to pick your pony and ride it for the night.

One of the elements is that you develop a tolerance to be able to handle "more", increasing the requirements on your poor liver, increasing the time to filter it out. What used to be 6 beers to stupidity ...quicky becomes 12...taking double the duration - and double the likelihood you're mixing A and B.

Are you mixing and matching? Lights and Darks? Mixing 2 or more production bases? Etc?

The trouble and hangover territory you'll run into stems from getting messed up on 2 or more different types of alcohol (or even something as simple as 2 dissimilar types of beer). In my experience, my BAC for 2 beers is the BAC from 2 beers - but if you drink ..say...a black&tan..versus something of equal gravity - but only one alcohol base... I feel more messed on the Black&tan (well...2 of them...)

Then again...I have practice :(

Macro Free, but shorter - squattier - looks as if the LPR has been ripped out of the marker entirely. And no OLED.

Looks like...I might be buying a used 13 for $550. Just gotta wait until the Grey/Purple color combination pops up.

...If I even do that. Gah - life kinda tends to either provide more free time than we want with no money....or more money than we can enjoy in our free time.

the new geo is even worse looking than the lv1. I didn't think it was possible, but they managed to do it.

I will say that the lv1 shoots great in terms of a smooth shot. it can be tuned to shoot REALLY smooth.
