i am thinking up a bunker field.

i am wanting to take a few ideals from the sujjections from another thread.

I am wanting to dig a Trench not to deep but deep enough to stick your legs in probally about Knee high.

Then I want to take barrols and put them at the end of the trench these trenches about 6foot long. The barrols will be inbetween some cutup trees in front of the trenches. Then I will Drill square gun holes about 4" x 2 1/2". I will put about 3 of those per bunker.

You probally ask Why the Barrols. I dont know but it sounds cool.

The cutup trees Will be stcked up about as high as a 3 1/2 foot barrol.

I asked myself wont the trenches fill up with water. Well on my field there is a sloap from one end to the other. I am going to take some PVC and run a drain tube from the bottom of the trench to a leveling sloap so the trench isn,t engulfed with water. It,ll be as dry as regular part of the field.

I am going to lay this senario layout throughout a full 3 acres

So what do you think of this ideal.

Oh i forgot to mention I am going to put spools spread out inbetween and around these bunkers for more cover. Atleast when i play i like to have lots of cover and have several types of bunkers

you have a very good plan. but is this gonna be inthe woods or an open field? 3 acres a a little large for an open field, and it's gonna take a lot of players to fill it up.

nice drainage idea, just make sure the pvc pipes dont' get clogged with mud and make sure the trenches arent' just a hole so peopel won't get hurt.

I feel that I should give you some input on the drainage, as I am a student studying construction engineering. I sudjest that you look into buying some weeping tile (you may call it something else in the States). It is a tube with a cloth sock on the out side, it allows water in but keeps dirt out. You could run a length of it down the trench and then conect it to some pvc to take it away from the trench. It may cost a bit more but you would notice a big difference in its abilty to drain your trenchs.
