depend on the tank. some have regs and some do not.

to install it, screw out your X chamber and scre in your reg..you may need to add new lines but that's not difficult to do.

I hear palmers stabilizer is a good reg fro spyders.

get a cp reg. This should screw into the vert asa or where the expansion chamber is now. OKay, if u decide to continue using the hose u may have to buy metric to standard converters so u can attach it to the air fittings. U might need a 90* fitting for the cp reg also.

If u use marco line i'm pretty sure just a 90* fitting on the reg would work, and u MAY need a adapter if u use the stock ASA.

im pretty sure that you need to also buy an assault block to put a reg on your imagine because of the threads it uses. But buy the cp short reg cuz it is awesome. No it doesnt take alot of work, just take off the steel braded hose and unscrew the expansion chamber and screw in the reg. And Martix Agent, all compressed air tanks have a reg on them otherwise you would be sending 3000-4500psi strait into your gun.

Okay so i assume u guys are talking about custom products regs?

Wells heres the ones that i see, are they good and will they work with the imagine 05?

Custom Products 04 Small Regulator with Gauge Port
Xtreme price: $66.99

Custom Products 04 Large Regulator with Gauge Port
Xtreme price: $66.99

Custom Products 04 Large Regulator
Xtreme price: $66.99

Custom Products 04 Small Regulator
Xtreme price: $64.99

So which one would be the best?

Also do different regs only work on certain guns? And are those all the verticle ones? Do i want a horizontal one as well?

thanks!!

Yes, that's what we mean by cp, also those are all the same regulator. Just different lenghts long, and some have gauges.

I'd go for long w/ not gauge.

i don't like the small b/c it's to small for my taste. I like to be able to grip w/ my whole hand. Gauge, doesn't matter. U just screw the thing in. The toughest part will be attaching the hose. And that's easy. Just put the marco line in the fitting and then attach it to the ASA.

lol...umm this is gunna sounds stupid but....the regulator is the front grip? is that right? So i would have to take my old one off and then put this one in? So is my current one a regulator or just a solid front grip?

spyder imagine 05 that is

Yeah, theyre all the same reg but just different sizes and some have gauge ports. It will work well, and all you have to do is screw it in where your front grip is now. Unscrew the one u got on there, and screw that one in. Youll also need to buy new hoses (macroline or steal-braided)... That site is well trusted also
