Ghillie and paintball doesn't work well. Look into getting some 3d Camo instead. o have an effective ghillie, you can't just sew vines and foliage into it. So lets say you have soem fern branches in it. WTF are you going to do if your not stalking in ferns?

You have to continually adapt your camouflage to make it work, and to do this, you need two hands. And a big nono in paintball is putting your marker down on the ground for any reason.

Also, when they and I and warpig say "stalk" and crawl" they and we and I mean move so slow, that you can't tell its moving. Slower then a chameleon. I mean, we're talking SLOW. And you can't waste that much time in paintball.

What are you going to do off the break? Run? Nope. IF your wearing ghillie and you want to use it effectively, you've got to blend in off the break. Good luck.

Just get some MARPAT instead. More comfortable, easier, and economic, not to mention better in every aspect.

i totally agree with alpha. ghillie suits are only usefull in 12-24 hour scenario games. you will be laughed off the field if you are playing a game of casual rec ball and crawl around the field at .0000000001 mph. i think the snipers in the military only move a couple of meters a day depending on the situation. plus they don't just crawl in and shoot someone, they ovserve the target sometimes. if you really want to make a ghillie suit then use burlap sewn onto a flight suit or bdu's, or jute thread tied onto square netting.

ghillie suits are good if you are gonna lay in one place during the game. If you like to move around alot go out and get a good set of camo.

Well, on games like Oklahoma D-Day, ghillie suits would work well to take out leaders and such. Ghillie suits are easy and fun to use if you use stalking techniques and run around to find good spots, it effective. But its not so useful in casual games. In fact, I can post a picture of my unfinished but still quite nice ghillie suit.

ghoulie suits are good for the long scenarios, especially the one's that are continues (no breaks, all day play). i suggest using it more for a recon thing than a sniper thing, cause you get seen once and the jig is up, buddy.

and ya, camo works perfectly fine, u can pick up some cheap stuff at wal-mart.

Where is the place to stick all of the foilage? If it does not have somewhere to put in foilage in your area, then it is not a guile suit.
