im clinicly depressed. ive just learned this recently and its not a good time. my grandfather is really sick and in the hospital and im just down. just give me advice i dont really feel like explaining any more than that.

i guess my advice would be just try your best to find people to talk to. i had a friend who was severely depressed, and she came to me whenever she was really upset and it got her out of the bad depressed mood. honestly though, there's not much you can do, its just a pyschological thing if you want to try to put it in a different perspective.

there used to be a comercial for this anti-depresent medicine, that had this little blobby guy that kinda hopped around... he looked at butterflies and stuff too, but my mom takes it. She's been on it since she got robbed at gun point like four years ago, and it keeps her in a pretty regularly happy and contempt mood

u misunderstood my post. but id rather not argue about pointless things in this thread, let us help a "brotha" out, shall we?

btw most anti depressent medicine helps balance out the chemicals in your brain, so dont take any unless u are perscribed it and take the exact amount perscribed... taking too much or the wrong medicine can very easily make you become even worse and/or suicidal.

From my past "experiances" do not take medication. Also, talking to a specialist didn't really help me. Basically when I turned 16 I just decided to chill out and shape up a bit. I used to get pissed over everything, like I had pretty bad anger problems. Now I'm just chill about everything and nothing really gets to me anymore. Well the whole single and lonely thing does every now and then but it's not like I go cry and cut my wrists or anything.

Really just do things that you want to do and will make your life better. Not recomending it but I started smoking quite a bit and it was a good experiance for a good few solid months. Smoked everyday during the summer and buckled down once school started. I've maybe smoked 3 or 4 times since Mid-August now.

It's all up to you whether to make the best out of your life. Sure it's got it's downpoints but it should be all the more reason to make improvements.

Figure out what it is that's getting you down and change it. That's really the only "real" way to fix anything.

well i would at least reccomend trying it.. i mean i dont think doctors would reccomend anti-depressants if they all had negative results. i really believe that it varies from person to person (the side-effects)

I'm just really against them.. My mom has been taking them for quite some time and they've messed her up. They started ****ing with me but I still had the willpower to get off them.

Any drug that alters the way you think is very dangerous. Granted, some people cannot function without them. There are people that get violent or suicidal urges and therefore probably need medication. But if you are just depressed (and I don't mean to put down the condition as if it's nothing) then there are better, safer ways of of dealing with it, ways that don't have any negative side effects.

listen, find someone who you can trust with all your inner thoughts, and whenever you get down talk to them, if you cant talk to them then talk to a member of the forum(me or any other person who ash psoted in here, thus the pm was born) you will get over this bro with a little bit of time. trust me i have been there before and im still standing just like 9/10s of the other people who have been there to.
