i was just wondering what everyones modem speed is, check it at www. dslreports. com, go under the our tools then the speed tests, once ur done with that post what ur speed is, mine is 2Mb/sec. i just want to know what everyones running.

p.s. tell the type of connection, im just wondering.

56k Rocz the world and don't forget it. Actually... I live too far out in the sticks to get DSL and my cable company doesn't carry boardband in my area. Its great. I have considered going to wireless and satelite, but sat is like $60+ /month and wireless has a $500 first time install fee and than $50/month.

Just have to wait for Cable. DSL is still miles away.

Depends where you live, I work for Road Runner in Wisconsin and we give 2megabit/384kilobit to residential customers. I'm using 4meg/2meg at work though

I'm using Verizon DSL and my speed is 694 kbps. The fastest test I've ran before is 900 kbps.

ni AIM doesnt do anything, it depends on whos running the test, i know with two different sites i got totally different answers, if u use the one i gave the top one is the most accurate. and im going through adelphia cable.
