i was playing at the field and noticed that my gun was only getting about 230 fps on the chrono. the gauge read 200 psi and everything was normal, no leaks, nothing wrong, just low velocity. when i took it home i remembered you can adjust the back cap for velocity increase. i screwed it all the way out as far as it will go, then i shot it. It didnt seem to be shooting any faster, i do not have a chrono at my house but it didnt seem to be shooting any faster. do you think its a velocity problem, or is it that i just cant tell that its shooting faster, would i be able to tell the difference between 230 fps and like 300 fps?

invest in a chrono, or take the time and go to a local field. My mini is uber sensitive and it took me 15-20 minutes to dial it in around 285. Also, before you hold it up to the chrono, shoot a few round through it. I had to keep going back and forth between CC and CCW before getting it just right. And for the love of all things mini, DO NOT mess w the regulator - if you're still experiencing problems, just ask for help from staff or ask around if anyone has knowledge of minis.
