I currently have an a-5 with a flatline. Not the best setup, and I've only been able to use it a few times. I'm going to upgrade to the J&J Edge kit, but I know I will be upgrading my marker (not sure when though). My dilemma is whether I should buy the kit with the a-5 threads or buy a lapco adapter and get the more common cocker threads for when I do upgrade my marker. I'm worried about the adapter affecting the performance of the J&J barrel on the a-5 than if I were to go with straight a-5 threads. Any advice?

If you plan on upgrading to a different gun later, than I'd go for the Lapco Adaptor
If you're happy with the A-5, than just get it in A-5 threads
If you're happy with the A-5, than just get it in A-5 threads
