All of a sudden John Kerry is into some things that I never saw him doing within the last year. Hunting, for example. I liked the SNL's Weekend Update last night. 'After John Kerry was done shooting the ducks, they went back to the truck and he accused his fellow hunters of raping and cutting off the duck's heads.'

Another is his new religious stance. All of his speeches now have to do with his faith. I guess he decided to be a preacher. He's been quoting scripture and everything.

I hope the American people are smart enough to see past these charades. The sad part is, many will fall for it. Thats enough of my political rant, I just havent seen anything this artificial since the creation of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.

Art Small For Senate

This is a little off topic, but this guy is a democrat running for senate from Iowa. Listen to the one called Art Small Sings. That is a real ad on the radio around here. [sarcasm]I'm sure he's going to get a lot of votes.[/sarcasm]

I guess I have never noticed that before. Its funny that the news has also noticed that he has become a lot more interested in religion within the last week.

"Kerry's discussion of faith in the closing days of the campaign comes as he seeks to blunt President Bush's appeal to the faithful and present himself as a candidate whom undecided voters can trust to lead." -Miami Herald

kerry has been hunting and talking about religion when he became senator.
Chaos is correct.

However, in Massachusets, Kerry openly supported the ban to ban most hunting rifles. The gun he was holding in the picture would be VERY illegal in Mass. This is one reason why hunters don't consider him a hunter.

He also does say he is a Catholic, but Catholic priests all over the country have said they would refuse him communion because most of his beliefs directly contradict the vaticans. This is one reason why many catholics don't consider him a catholic.

So, this isnt a new flip-flop for Kerry. He has been doing these flipflops since he first became a senator.

I think Kerry is just in this race so he can be president. Not so he can make america a better place. But so he can be number 44. HE just wants to be famous. He's an idiot, adn everythign he does is for votes adn I can't stand and do not understand how people can like him. I live in Massachusetts, and abotu 60% of the state is liberal flaming retards.

Well, I don't think he is an idiot. He went to harvard? right? I know it was the same school that Bush went to.
I think Kerry is pretty smart. He is an excellent speaker, and is very adept at knowing which way the wind blows on certain issues.
For example: He is against a federal ban on Gay marrage... because thats what the majority of people in the USA feel.
But... he is FOR a STATE ban on Gay marriage in Massachusets... because thats what the majority of people in Mass feel...

SO why do people still vote for him? I think lots of people hate Bush, and will vote for whomever runs against him.
WHy the Bush hatred? Well, Bush has done a pretty good job, but the things that make liberals mad is that the GOP controls the house, senate, presidency, supreme court, and most state houses and Govs.
There was a huge conservative push in this country, and it means that the right can pass whatever laws they want, and PREVENT the left from passing any.

This makes the left very mad (about environmental, abortion rights, whatever). The easiest solution is to stick a puppet liberal in the office.

I really think the media has a lot to do with it. The people who control thigns are definetly liberal. And when you own a giant company like that, you can sway a helluva lot of people.

This is insane. He's a politician, of course he's going to try and appeal to as many groups of people as possible, every single politician does this.

As for flip-flopping, waht exactly ahs bush been doing over Iraq, First we were going to get him because Saddam had links with 9/11 which he didn't. Second we were going to get rid of WMD's, which Iraq didn't have. and then third we were invading to free the Iraqi peopela dn make them safe.

Bush has changed his position on Iraq so many times its beyond belief that no one's worked out that he was lying. He lied so that he could have his pathetic little war in which over a 1000 heroic servicemen and countless civilians have died. How is it that he somehow has 'the right stuff' to lead when he makes catastrophic mistakes?! As a historian i cannot begin to comment on the list of errors The Bush Administration made when going into Iraq.

Why exactly is anyone considering voting for this tool? He's and ape in a suit. Admittedly he's an ape with quite good political instincts, but his global view is so 2D it's a wonder that American hasn't been attacked again.

Anyway, vote Kerry, he may not be anything special, but he's definatly better than the rubbish we've had to put up with for the last 4 years.

I can't wait for this damn election to be over. I'm so sick of hearing about it EVERYWHERE. I'm not gonna go so far as to say Bush is a good president, but he's definatly weak in my opinion. Like that guy said (too lazy to quote) he's flipfloped over Iraq repeatedly. What happened to "Mission Accomplished"? I don't like Kerry either. But at least he can pronounce the words he says. This election sucks... nuff said

i dont want a president that needs a speaker on his back to tell him what to say during the debate. yes it is a proven fact that george bush had someone telling him what to say during the debate it is spreading quickly and was actually in the news down here. yet they could not find anything against him because he had to make his own rules or he wouldnt debate. i alswell dont like kerry but i cant stand bush stealing anymore money out of this country then he already has.

i wish people would stop saying that people should vote for the other parties... its not going to happens, legally they only exist to add more of a selection, but voting time, they dont let them to debate so that it wont disrupt the 2-party system. and alpha- how can you say liberals are 'flaming retards', my views are pretty liberal and if you don't like that, then your anti-american. see im entitled to my own beliefs, i am allowed to do what i want when it comes to who im going to vote for and why. its int he constitution, and if you dont like it, then **** you hitler. the only reason you even support the war in iraq is because you 'want to be a marine'. you and millions of other kids who play americas army all day long want to join the army and they get to iraq and realize what they made the mistake of doing. i know personally from people ive known who did. why do you think there are not enough soldiers re-enlisting? its because they realize iraq isnt what they expected it to be. you know, there are alot more important things then iraq. we should be solving the issues in our OWN country, i dont give a **** about iraq. it doesnt affect me one bit. if saddam hussein was killing his people, why didnt the iraqis do anything about it? why did it take ameriica to make the desicion to invade iraq? i dont know too much about whats going on in iraq, and honestly, i dont even care. bush was asked once what he suggests people do if they lose their jobs, apparently 2 million people lost their job this year. he replied with ''go to community college''. that doesnt even make any sense... how can you afford to go to college, and switch careers that easily? it wont happen thats why.. what about outsourcing of jobs? homeless people? gay marriage? what about helping other countries like in africa who are starving to death and dyng every day from epidemics? the flu shot shortage? id rather see an africa being helped, then iraq being bombed the **** out of...

That "Go to community college" thing STILL kills me. my sister has a PhD in counseling (specialized in helping Deaf people)... My sister was WORKING at a CC. She lost her job cause of the education cut. she have 2 kids and a mortgage to pay. Shes' getting by now, but tshe struggled for a while... I'd love for bush to tell my sister, who is more educated than him, to go back to Community College because she lost her job. His logic is a bit skewed... he's not thinking about the people who have degrees that lose jobs. Oh yeah... and just a side note... Lose your job, go to a CC. My CC's price went up 400% in the last 2 years... from $7 to $28/unit. That's not a lot of money in comparison to other places/schools, but if you don't have a job... $80/class is a lot to toss out if you don't got it. Ugh, that's one of the few things he's said that makes me really dislike the guy.

Wow, republicans and liberals battle it out. If I had a vote, I'm voting for Nader, or something. But I'd vote for bush, because, you know what? Kerry = idiot imo.
