‘TERROR HUNT’​

WHAT: SCENARIO WOODSBALL GAME & BBQ

WHEN: SATURDAY, APRIL 26th.

RAIN DATE: SATURDAY, MAY 10TH.

WHERE: 69 BRUNSWICK AVE EXT, MOOSUP, CT (Exit 89 off I-395)

COST: $10

PLOT: This is a scenario game where the LAPD has assembles an elite group of anti terrorist experts, EMP specialist, and SWAT officers to hunt down the most savage terrorist commander and foil his attempt to carry out a high tech Electro Magnetic Impulse (EMP) attack on Los Angeles, CA. The setting will be the mountains of Tijuana, 60 miles south of the US Mexico border.

GAME OVERVIEW: We will divide into two (2) even teams. There will be three (3) terrorist camps on the field. Each camp will contain an assignment that must be completed by the LAPD team. Each team will have one commander, two EMP experts, and a two man sniper team, the rest of the players will be the tactical unit.

CAMP #1 – Location of the EMP and the codes needed to open the deactivation package that must be retrieved from Camp #2. The use of some tools is required to disarm the EMP. The LAPD will have a total of 90 minuets to secure Camp #1 & #2.

CAMP #2 - Location of the instructions and tools needed to deactivate the EMP at Camp #1.

CAMP #3 – Camp #3 will be the Terrorist Headquarters. The Terrorist Commander must be assassinated by the Sniper team. The main LAPD tactical unit can provide cover, decoy, or a full blown assault to assist the snipers, but a head shot from the sniper team is what will kill the commander. The commander will be identified by a second arm band. The sniper mission can only be executed after camp #1 & #2 have been disarmed.

NOTES: The terrorist commander can only be assassinated while at Camp #3 and must return to Camp #3 after Camp #1 & #2 have been taken by L.A.P.D. forces. While outside of Camp #3 the commander does not have any special privileges, he/she can be killed by any hit.

BASIC RULES:
-2 1/2 HOUR LIMIT PER ROUND (90 min. to deactivate the EMP, 60 min. Sniper mission).
-One hit your out. Gun hits do not count. Friendly fire and splatters the size of quarters counts.
-Once you’re hit, return to DEAD ZONE and cycle back into the game after 10 minuets.
-No medic option.
-Each assignment can only be completed by the pre-picked specialists.
-Each team will have a different color arm band.
-Camp #1 and #2 can be simultaneously attacked.
-Camp #3 cannot be attacked until the EMP has been disarmed.
-CHRONO markers under 300fps.
-Barrel plugs and safety on at all times when not playing.
-PROTECTIVE GEAR WORN AT ALL TIMES.
-Full auto OK, grenades OK, landmines OK.
-If the EMP is not disarmed correctly, anyone with in 120’ circle is out of the game for 20min.

TEAMS: Two (2) teams, we will swap sides after 2 ½ hours or after the mission is completed/failed, which ever comes first. Everyone will get a chance to play both the good guys and the bad guys.

AIR: We will have 4x 3000psi Scuba tanks on the field to provide HPA/Compressed Air refills. We do not have CO2. Please come with a full tank of air to start the day.

PAINT: This is a Bring Your Own Paint game. Please bring paint that is fresh and break on impact. We found paint on the field from the last game that was as solid as a rock (dark purple shell with very noticeable seam and pink fill). If you can not break your paint between your thumb and index finger then that paint could really hurt someone.

REFRESHMENTS & FOOD:
Coffee & Donuts in the AM. Water & Gatorade throughout the day. Bring your own lunch. Dinner to be served at 6pm

SCHEDULE:
Be on site by 8am SHARP, we will start debriefing at 8:30, on the field by 9:30am and start the first game by 11am. Lunch break at 1:30pm. Dinner will be at 6pm.

REGISTRATION:
The fee for this game will be $10. The registration fee will get you HPA/Compressed Air refills, refreshments, and a delicious warm meal at the end of the day, the best field food you’ve ever had!

04/14/2008 UPDATE: No WHITE FILL paint is allowed at this game. 1000 rounds of white fill paint will be given to each team for the sniper mission. This will help us identify a kill shot from the sniper team during the final mission of this scenario game.

GAME ADDITION 04/16/2008: We are adding a 4th mission to this game.

Once the LAPD completes mission 1~3 (#1 retrieve disarmament package, #2 disarm EMP, #3 eliminate Terror Commander), they will have to get their asses back to US soil.

This 4th mission will be run in elimination mode; there will be no reinsertion during this mission for the LAPD. They will be given 30 min to retreat back to US soil.

The terrorists will still have reinsertion every 10min.

Good morning everyone.

We are less than 48 hours away from the LAPD Terror Hunt Scenario game.

Thanks to everyone doing a great job at spreading the word we have a total of 30 people confirmed for the game on Saturday.

We have made some changes to the schedule;

7:30~8:30am –Check-in.

8:30am – Debriefing / Team Discussions / Q & A. As soon as we are done debriefing please prepare your markers for chrono.

9:30~10am – Chrono markers. Under 300fps for HPA & under 280fps for CO2. We normally chrono markers on the field but for this game we will chrono markers at the staging area.

10am – Move to field.

10:20am – Walk through of field.

11am SHARP – FIRST GAME STARTS.

1:30pm – 1 hour lunch break / resetting field props.

2:30pm – SECOND GAME STARTS.

6pm – Game over.

6:30pm – FOOD!!!
