If you have been around these boards for a while you will have heard my comments on masks, but seeing as you are new, I get to tell the whole story all over again...

In a nutshell, don't skimp on your mask. I personally consider your mask the MOST important piece of paintball equipment you can buy. I don't care what marker, jersey, paint, hopper, tank, or warm fuzzy agg accessory you just have to own, your mask will either make your paintball experience a good one, or if not, you will never play again.

1) You can't hit what you can't see. Fogging, limited sight lines, bulky clunky masks make your life hell. You will be tempted to take your goggles off to clean them or wipe out the fog or something. BAD Idea!!

2) You are only as safe as your goggles. Now I am not talking impact resistance, most all goggles do a good job at that. However as I state above, they only protect you if you keep them on.

So I would encourage you to save a bit and buy the best set of goggles that you can. you can get a really good used pair for less then $50, and the ones so far quoted to you in this thread are decent.

Stay away from single lenses that fog, and narrow lenses that limit your peripheral vision. Stay away from hard plastics that are uncomfortable.

My reccomendation -- V-force profiler. It is all I exclusively use. I love them. Great field of vision, very comfortable, and I have NEVER fogged up in them even on hot humid days.

But you have to find what it right for you, just don't buy the el-cheapo cause that is all you can afford... get a good set of gogs.. You will thank me later for that.
