ok so i take in accounting class in high school and i'm pretty sure it's what i want to do. a lot of people tell me it's boring and stuff, but i like numbers, im wierd, o well. but a teacher of mine said accounting isn't a career to go into because in the near future it'll be done on computers and everything and having people be accountants will be pointless. anybody have an opinion on that statement? is it something i could still go into for a stable career, or should i run and get away from it while i have the chance?

Well all I know is my friend's brother became an accountant. He was slacking off and really going nowhere for a while. Then he got a job. Now he's buying a new house, bought tons of new suits, bought a new car, paid back all the money he owed his family, and is buying my friend a ton of stuff.

In short, he's on his way to becoming very successful.
