I don't know what lube the mini likes, but hater sauce may not be the correct thing to use.

If you're getting pressure spikes, the best thing to do is to set the regulators properly. go look up the lurker sweetspot method and do that.

i stand corrected. that is new to me. nobody i know used grease on their minis. but then again, nobody kept their minis.

i guess thinking about it, it operates more like a spool anyways.

but anyways. the spring is what returns your bolt to the ready position. i'd assume that you could lower your operating pressure by using a softer spring?

It works more like a tippman than a spool valve marker. It's a single tube poppet valve.
A softer valve would give you a smoother shot (i think) but may leave the valve open for longer than the stock spring.

Clean your marker, lube it properly, and then reset the regulators.
