save the money and get a better hopper, sights are pointless in paintball anyway, the paint is too inaccurate to use any kind of optics and cramming your face and mask down on top of your marker does not allow you to see anything through the sight anyway, just aim down the side of your marker, you can see a straight line down the barrel for reference and it helps you keep a lower profile

ya its compatible, personally id go grab a new invert too or VL eye force at $50 over those now, i am more partial to the invert because it uses ears instead of eyes like the VL and halo you mentioned. or if you want to get an older hopper off ebay get the empire reloader over the halo, 99% of the parts are identical but it uses a circut board that uses ears over the halo board which uses eyes

Thanks, ill be checking that out. I have read the reviews that say eyes dont work w/ black paint. That true? Also, ears? Is that like sonar in the feedneck or something? Thanks again Trbo for answering my questions.

depends on what kind of eyes they are, if they are reflective eyes they can have issues with dark paint since there will not be enoufgh light reflecting off of them. if they are breakbeam eyes they will not have any issues

but the main problem with eyes as far as hoppers go is if a paintball breaks in the hopper the paint can ooze down and cover the eye, once that happens the hopper thinks there is paint in the raceway and it does not need to load, basically it goes blind once it gets paint in the eye and stops loading

ears use a microphone to hear the marker fire, it fires and the loader loads a new paintball, also faster reaction than eyes since it does not have to wait for the paint in the raceway to start moving in order to start feeding. but if a ball breaks in a hopper with ears it will just keep feeding as if nothing has happened
